    as i said earlier... hunter on any level cant compete against control decks.  even with the combo, i cant see a reason for a nerf... sure good decks are built around it but are they any better than control priest, control warrior, control pally, zoolock..

    i mean zoo warlock beats hunter like 50% of the time from what i see and its prolly its best matchup from what i just listed...

    the only reason you see so many hunters is because its a good cheap  build for players lacking the big cards.. same with the warlock

    but like i said... at their best they still cant compete at top level with the good control decks

    also.. the reason you see so many control priests now is that its cheaper to build than control warrior

    in the current meta control priest has the best match up with all current running decks in my opinion... i cant see a reason to nerf something if its not the best thats out there

    not saying i don't disagree with a nerf totally! just not how it was done...

    this idea wont work... but still props on the suggestion.

    here is what would work and in my opinion would be great!   you know how in timed chess you only got so much total time.. this is kinda what i would like to see implemented... for example.. if you make your time run all the way out.. your next turn you wont have as much sorta... it would keep ppl from wasting your time and also in my opinion would balance out rush vs. control a bit more

    It was overkill and done poorly.  Uth should have had another nerf making hounds nonbeast and it would have been fine.  Instead they have made buzzard so bad that its unplayable.  They really messed up things with nax but won't admit it.. And it looks like they were too stubborn to fix uth.. So now ur left with a useless card

    And as for hunters.... Even at its best it can't compete with the meta control decks. 

    One area they did mess up on is beast in general. There are more beasts in the game than I can count... They have made far too many. Little things like that break balance.. If creepers wasn't a beast.. Something that simple it could have adjusted alot

    I feel with this nerf of leeroy.... Some other controlish legendary should get hit as well.. I mean leeroy is pretty big deal in rush based decks.  Already aggro rush decks can't compete with the control decks.  They just have too many answers to delay the game.. Until the big boys drop... Idk.. Just a thought....

    I agree it was over nerfed at 5 mana for a 3/2 it will become the least value card in the game.  Buzzard would not be a prob without uth... All they had to do was change unleash to summon non beasts and both cards would be usefull 

    I really don't care either way as I'm not a fan of the combo but... I gotta say its a bit much

    5 mana for a card that's stats equal 5.. Currently we base value on cards with total stats double the cost or higher.. I mean look at what's out there... 4/5 for 4... Why would someone use it.  I mean u could only do the combo at 8 mana and at that point ud be better off with auctioner and getting draws from spells.. Hunter uses quite a few spells anyways.  

    Yea I see buzzard as a pointless card now.  Uth should have been the target.. 

    As for keeroy. Thrilled can't wait to dust mine

    Zoo is dead... I mean ppl may still play it but it just gets crushed by the current control decks..  I see priest sticking around for a while unfortunately.. Has to be the most annoying class to play

    i don't think hunter is overpowered in arena.. or in constructed.  i do think mage is not as good as it used to be though..

    in my personal opinion i think all the classes can do pretty well in arena.. besides warrior.. i feel warrior is a horrible class for arena.

    hunter used to suck in arena but it seems that its not as bad anymore.. i wouldn't say its anywhere near the best though.

    as for constructed goes,  i dunno... i don't really have that big of a problem playing hunters... they can be pretty strong decks but i have a rather high win percentage against the class as a whole.  I don't think the hunter deck is as strong as control warrior or priest.. so i am going to have to say i feel its not overpowered.   I would rather be matched up with a hunter than a priest or warrior any day

    in all honesty... i doubt there are many playing the hunter decks right now that are going much higher than a 50% win ratio...

    look.. last night i had my best arena run ever with hunter (10 wins).  I attribute my success to  a single card... because my deck looked so bad...... Freezing trap!  I pulled 2 freezing traps, 1 Snake Trap, 2 Mad Scientists, 2 Eaglehorn bows... this was the core of my deck.. all else was garbage... i had no highmanes.. horible late game.. deck even had murlocs in it cause they were the better choice... I did have a few web spinners that helped out.  no hound masters.. and not hardly any beast synergy.

    seemed like every game as long as i could get some freezing traps out in the begining it ensured victory... it allowed me to steal turns from my opponent and get an early advantage... and from that point with a hunter deck victory is all but had... the 2 dmg a turn hero power is hard to get threw for most arena decks

    I have played arena alot.. and even with a pretty shitty draft i can get 5 wins... and with a decent draft i can get 7-8... never have gone all the way yet though... :(   last night.. i thought this hunter deck would maybe see 4-5 wins... oh damn did she put out tho...

    I just may start playing hunter more often.... I personally don't think hunter is that easy of a class to play in arena tho.. but can be quite good

    I just went 10 wins in arena (my personal best so far) with an absurd hunter deck that had murlocs... it was a horrible draft.. i mean it was a bad deck but i figured i could take it to maybe 4-5 wins.. i can usually get that out of an average to bad deck.  this thing put out like mo fo though... I had so many top decks and random shit that went in my favor. haha.. one was a win by a spider giving me a king crush for the victory... 

    i usually pass on hunter but i gotta say, the one card that determined most games was freezing trap... it gave me a big lead in a lot of the matches.. and once you get a class down to half health with hunter the work is half done.. its hard to survive that 2 dmg a turn after that point..

    got a great pull from the prizes... like 200 gold, golden rare... and out of the pack i pulled a Illidin Stormrage

    ahhh what a great night.. that has to be the best pack i have pulled from arena so far

    i am convinced now... if you can pull 2 freezing traps and 2 mad scientists... the rest of the deck can be whatever and you will do just fine

    my deck had 0 silence, no hunters marks.. i also had a horrible late game with the deck.  i had a few uth but no way to pump them other than one stromwind champ.. that combo did win me one game though dropped on the same turn.

    seriously though, to the opposition......

    what sounds like more of an exploitable system: Having a good idea of who your going to face next? or Not having a clue who your going to face next?

    I can rest my case with that one simple question... while feeling like the lawyer off devils advocate... and saying "check mate"

    no seriously though... perhaps you haven't realized it cause its right under you nose... but perhaps the most exploitable system possible is what we have now.... i feel a far less exploitable system would be one where you go in to a match and not think "well i got prolly a 60 percent chance of facing hunter"

    any way you look at it.. knowing your far less likely to play the opponent that you just played... is hell of a lot less exploitable than knowing you have a good chance to play said flavor of the month...

    currently you think the meta is a good thing, but is it?

    the meta creates one powerful deck and then spawns  counter.... so what you end up with is like say 2 dominate decks you are going to run up against... or perhaps 4 on a good month.

    this sounds pretty bland to me... just saying

    with my implementation.. ppl will constantly be building powerful new decks to play but you will see far more variety.  there will be no more 2 deck dominance that exists now... the reign of the flavor of the month and the counter will end... it will be the dawn of a new day, when you see tons of new decks out there being played...

    the system you have now would work fine if it wasn't for the internet.. net decking... and youtube... but with all those things comes masses copying a few decks each month.. and making creativity pointless...

    i dunno...i just gotta say.. i like my idea much better

    you are both missing one very important factor and keep saying that the most popular class will have lengthened wait time?  I now understand why you fail to get what I am saying.... 

    let me repeat.. no class would have any longer of a wait time.  what you are missing is that it is a CYCLE!   what is the key thing about a cycle? it all ways goes back to the begining right... ok

    so lets say you were playing with 10 ppl all hunters... guess what.. ur next 2 matches would be..... Hunter... just because the system will try to find you a different class don't mean that it has to.. i never said that it would be imposible.. i just said cycle...

    to clarify further...

    the system could work as it would go threw the cycle... but would try each and every other class before the one you just played... but if it couldn't.. you would play the same class again... all this would be determined within the pool of skill based players in you level (as it is now)

    the only difference in what i am suggesting is... it would cycle classes to try and give you different opponents.
