Find 1-2 top tier decks at hsreplay( or ahirunhs twitter), learn them and stick with them.Always play to win and never play not to lose. There are good and bad match-ups for each deck, accept it and try-force to highroll the bad ones. Some days you will have bad wr and some others good.If you keep playing, rank-up will come eventually.
This. Pick a deck that suits your playstyle, stick with it learn to play it, and try to make the optimal plays every turn.
And one important thing, RNG can make you soar through ranks but at the same time can screw you over time and again. Take a break when you're on a losing streak (usually after 3 consecutive losses) for a few hours and start again. Eventually you'll get there.
Never forget why you play the game; it’s a form of entertainment and a way to de-stress. The last thing you want is for it to pile on more of it!!
Enjoy the game and Legend will come, it doesn’t really mean that much anymore as the rank has seemed significantly easier to attain after the Year of the Phoenix dropped with ladder changes.
Goodluck!
This. Best piece of advice of the thread. Don't focus on the rank itself, enjoy your games, always aim for the optimal plays and Legend won't be a problem.
We focus on the grind so much that we forget we started playing the game to have fun in the first place.
You maybe right but honestly if there weren't some totally unbalanced and ridiculous cards like rogue secret passage or druid insane mana cheating, I could definitely be better
What he's trying to say is that maybe you need to take a step back and look what's going wrong. Could it really be that there's an actual meta change at D3? Is the deck you're climbing with, getting countered by 1 or 2 specific decks? I'm pretty sure it's not a playstyle problem rather than a matchmaking one.
The fact that you verbally attack a person who's trying to help and you consider all things around HS a "luck issue" tells me you have no idea about the game whatsoever. So good lluck trying to find what's wrong with your playstyle and yourself.
Patience and mastering the deck you choose is the key to reach legend. It requires A LOT of grinding, so if you don't have a lot of time because of work etc, you should pick an aggro deck for faster matches.
Also bad rng will always be there, falling ranks as well. Try not to get frustrated, focus in each match individually and you'll get there.
I hit legend last month with Highlander Warrior, which was one of the top tier decks just before the expansion. And let's not forget about Galakrond Warrior and Shaman alike which had to be nerfed to the ground for being so op, as mentioned above.
Every class has its turn to shine, be it by a new expansion or some nerfs.

The number of people not getting the joke in this thread really says a lot about the community.
Ready to flame anyone who they think does not deserve to play HS, because of the deck they prefer.
Really sad.

I've reached legend many times and there wasn't a single time I didn't bounce back and forth from D1 to D5 until the final push.
If you feel frustrated now, you should have experienced tumbling down to R5 from R1 in the old system.
Relax, try to make optimal plays, and you'll get there.

So what have you guys done so far? Have you dusted the extra cards from the expansion or are you waiting for the first big wave of nerfs?

Oh my sweet summer child, this is just a soft touch on your cheek.
Stop accepting aggro players, unless you want to see the real meaning of flame.

Hit Legend with Face Hunter this month, easiest one of my life. The deck eats Rogues and Demon Hunters for breakfast.

In conclusion, your argument is invalid.
