You are consistently going face as if you have some hidden plan to finish the opponent next turn. You are leaving the trading to him, allowing him to pick valuable trades, you are not considering the rng effects when you may minimize the low roll chance.
I don't want to call you a bad player, maybe that's the style that suits you well on ladder - where trading is usually not so important, but arena mostly consist of squeezing the last drop of juice from the resources you have. That is the clue. Next is playing around the potential punishing cards from your opponent class, but that can wait till you learn how to be greedy on board.
I know that in the HS logic it's the same as for stealth, but for those it has more sense (common sense is behind the rules :) ). In case of immunity with taunt why not block attack completely instead of bypassing the taunt? I would say it makes more sense - there is a minion with active taunt, visible for the enemy, and will lose taunt if shrine is not active.
If you are searching inconsistencies connected to the immune - there is one that quite literally pissed me - during one of the dungeon runs I had immune 1/1 creature and a shrine with effect that adjacent creatures have taunt... Guess what - taunt was present, but was also completely ignored by the enemy minions...
Hearthstone immunity means - not targetable and health will not be decreased. That's all. I was also quite surprised when for the first time I experienced that my immune minion died because of brawl (dungeon run). Vanish will also destroy it, regardless of immunity bubble...
