I actually made a quest priest that achieved about 72% winrate in the first two weeks of this exapnsion. Unfortunatley now im bouncing around 50-57% winrate in current meta (back then there was so much libram paladins, pirate warrios and aggro druids which were quite easy matchups). If u are interested check it out
To be honest most of the controlish matchups ends up with me winning with quest reward. So far I am 11-1 against Paladins and most of those matchups ended up with quest reward. Other like vs other quest priests, control warriors or shamans are simmilar.
Basically against aggro decks like face hunters, pirate warriors, aggro druids and so on u just simply forget about quest itself and focus on staying alive and stabilizing.
First one is obviously Mutanus the Devourer, keep it in mulligan and try to snipe Owl with it (I actually managed to do so in few games)
Second one is more tricky and actually more expensive as a combo. U could use Shadow Hunter Vol'jin with Najak Hexxen and Focused Will to try to snipe Owl out of their hand and then steal it with Najak.
I can't really think of any other kind of Combo disrupt (coz there are not taht many in the game actually) so you have to hope for Mutanus highroll.
Dude i think i was this tickatus lock! Seriously had exact same game today where i burned 16 cards from quest priest and he still managed to finish quest and he dodge my mutanus!
Aggresive inline skating (skateparks and urban), going to gym, playing board games, hiking, meeting with friends, playin in a music band, watchin TV Series, playin other games like Witcher 3 or Overwatch
I have to agree in 100%. Have been playing very similliar list for a long time (I preefer playing quest to have an additional wincon against control decks) and i manged to win every single game against Paladins. So far i got a crushing 79% winrate (30-8). For some details see this deck below
It is a tough one, because this we don't have that many good 4 drops. At first i would try to include Najak Hexxen additionaly with Focused Will (instead of 1 Renew or Thrive in the Shadows) because it is a nice 2-card 5 mana Mind Control tool. At the other hand, if u are facing many Paladins (i am constantly :D) you can easly go with The Nameless One. But if u don't have either of those legendaries you could go with Royal Librarian or something like Holy Nova (additional anti-aggro tool) or Void Shard (universal single target removal with potentiall Xyrella synergy)

The only good way is to Hysteria or try to kill it with 2 and 3 drops.
