posted a message on What do you think of the expansion so far?

The more I look at these dk's the more I am thinking the more they are played it is like autoconcede. Some of them impact your opponent's strategy, which is an awful mechanic. Others are so OP that it is like why continue. Is this going to be WOLK in WoW for Hearthstone?  WOLK was great.  Many people wished it was like vanilla or BC. Then pandas came...what can I say...do they just have no where to go with the game?

posted a message on Is this a Rock Paper Scissors Meta ?
    Quote from CO1933 >>

Well first off, the game has pretty much always been Rock-Paper-Scissors (except after WoG when it was just Midrange Shaman in power) because that's simply how it works: Aggro beats Midrange, Midrange beats Control and Control beats Aggro. And as for other strong decks, Lyra Combo Priest and Zoolock/Discolock are still running pretty strong even though they both require a decent amount of RNG. And when it comes down to the matchup between Aggro Hunter and Taunt Warrior, my Stampede Hunter has actually stood up pretty decently to Taunt Warriors, especially with Dinomancy on hand. Of course, I'd still call it my worst matchup with Aggro Hunter compared to the other decks you have mentioned here.

I agree with your post.  There are favorable class, decks types against other class deck types and vice versa.  The only thing you can do to ladder is to play your deck as well as you can; seeking something north of 60% win ratio.  You are going to run into decks that wreck your deck and there is pretty much nothing you can do.  If the meta is such that it is dominated by one archtype, then tech in some cards to help you deal with the problem decks.  That is all...cheers!

It is, but it's kinda unfair to the opponent.

Define unfair - there are many spells which do not have to target specifically and taunts would still need to be dealt with.  How it is unfair - anymore unfair than fucking Reno?

Thanks...it is a shame because it is such an interesting mechanic that fits rogue archtype so well.

    Hey everyone,

I am working to try to make a stealth themed Rogue viable.  It is challenging, but I am having some moderate success.  Here is the card list

    Stealth Rogue
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (18) Ability (12)
    Loading Collection

There are several cards I would like to try in the deck if I had them.  Master of DisguiseLotus Assassin

    Thoughts?

I seriously have not lost one time using this deck.  Currently, I am over 9,000. Even when it is a mirror match - we both get victory credit.  AMAZING!

Is there a viable Warrior build, other than Pirate, to deal with Jade Druid?  All of my Control Warrior decks are coming up short and getting pounded in late game.

I really get why anyone would hate this site, but the reason you are meantioning isn't really the site's fault, that's like some people's fault. What do you want the site to do about this? A solid system where you have to accept all decks before the get published?

I know....hence why I said...."So maybe it is not this site I really hate, it is the laziness of people who can't create anything for themselves and rely on a website to do their thinking for them."  The site is just the drug dealer.  The people have to choose to use.

So today, I log on to Hearthstone to get my pawnage on and all the sudden, I start seeing Druid Beast decks - like 5 right in a row.  I am like, what the hell is going on here.  Then, low and behold, I visit Heathpwn and there it is ThijsNL's token beast druid first on the list.  So maybe it is not this site I really hate, it is the laziness of people who can't create anything for themselves and rely on a website to do their thinking for them.  Where is the fun in that? Ugh!

Well, ripping off Elder Scrolls Legends makes sense, since it's a better game and about to launch.

Thought the same thing...lol Blizzard hasn't had an original thought in years.

The reason why is because they're releasing a scheduled patch on that date and they don't want to have to release patches every 2 weeks because getting releases on the Google Play store and Apple App Store is a pain in the ass.  They've said previously that they're looking into ways to fix this, but for now they can only do these updates by releasing a whole new client patch and this is the system we have.

I call bs on this sad excuse they make...many apps update at a regular frequency.  They are just lazy...plain and simple...both intellectual and developmentally.

You literally posted this an hour after nerfs and a change to ranked was announced.

The changes they announced are pathetic...that is the point.  They want you to feel better about playing their game....not actually interested in making it better.
How do you know if the game is better or not without trying out the nerfs and seeing how the meta adjusts? Would you rather they not make the adjustments and wait another month for the release for anything else to change?
Simple...the meta itself only has a limited amount of possibility based around few arch type cards...think about it...aggro, control, fatigue, tempo (mostly dead), and combo (also mostly dead).  Mid-range is the closest thing to a hybrid, but is only viable in certain classes.  The meta will always be dominated by either aggro (most likely) or control (most interesting).  The problem Hearthstone has is the meta is only playable by certain classes because of imbalance in design.
