I've been playing Hearthstone since WOTOG, and I guess it's fair to say that I'm more interested in the in the meta and the statistics of cards and decks, than actually playing the game. I spend about 100 hours a month on Hearthstone, but play only about 150 games, evenly spread between Standard and Wild, so you are not likely to meet me in Legend any time soon.
I consider myself a low budget player, (app. 150 packs per expansion), which means there is lots of cool stuff I don’t have the opportunity to try out, but it’s just enough to maintain 4-5 viable tournament/ladder decks. And to be honest, trying to squeeze the optimal win rates out of my limited resources is almost as exciting as playing the matches.
