The 3 Year of The Mammoth expansions (Knights, Un'goro and Kobodls) , IMO, are the best ones... In fact, I think they are completely OP, we got used to their overpower level and think the other ones are just meh...
Agreed. Do you think Un'Goro had more of an impact on its meta than ROS does on the current?
I've been playing since Un'goro so I have experienced first hand the insane power level of KaC and KFT which are arguably the strongest sets in Hearthstone History. However, I was recently looking at all of the cards from ROS and I personally think that this set is pretty damn strong as well. I don't think it reaches the power level of the Year of the Mammoth Sets but you can argue that ROS has had a profound affect on the current Meta due to its high abundance of powerful cards.
What do you think are the three most powerful sets in HS history? Here is my list (1 - strongest ):
1) Kobalds and Catacombs
2) Knights of the Frozen Throne
3) Rise of Shadows (undecided between this and un'goro)
Again I was not around for the year of the Kraken so I cannot comment on those sets.
FUCK! 6 wins going for 7 in arena, I have mage down to Lethal with a deranged doctor on his side. His next turn he conjurers it.. summons Catarina and resuming deranged. Such bullshit
Yeah, the deck is pretty good for me so far, but mage is impossible, 7 games and 7 loses
I am 4-0 with this deck at legend and just beat a conjurer's mage. I took out one Faceless (because I don't have 2) and I put in Wardruid Loti.. Her 1/2 stealth poisonous is pretty good. It either kills a giant or it forces your opponent to try and use AOE spells to take it out
Can anyone explain why Drogon did not kill Jon in the finale? Is it because he is a Targaryen? Could it be because Drogon saw how crazy Dany was getting and agreed she would not be the right ruler?
Priest is always a weird class in arena. It's probably teir 3 right now. Having said that, if I could I delete that stupid class from the game. The problem with priest is it's usually pretty in consistent to get a good deck and it has a pretty specific play style. But if it is working it is the most ungodly bullshit that ever happens in the game. Things like shadow madness, northshire cleric, mind control, and "let me change your mind" are just infuriating. And that's just the classic set. Add drakonid operator, cabal talon priest, potion of madness etc and the bullshit just gets infinitely worse.
TLDR priest is not a "good" class but if it gets it's broken cards it can be the worst experience ever for the opponent cuz bullshit priest things.
I couldn't agree more with your statement. I have watched a few Kripp streams where he has gone 1-3 with a priest but I have also seen him go 12-0. Its either a garbage deck or unstoppable. Priest is also my most hated class because of this XD. Nothing worse than when Anduin is on top lol
I’ve been playing a lot of arena lately and have noticed that Priests are the class to beat. These guys have some pretty crazy ass decks... lots of board clears, health buffs, strong class minions.
Are priests considered a top tier class in arena right now? Or am I just matched up with some high bucket priest decks? Curious to see what others think.
My opinion won't be the most popular one. But this episode has become very philosophical.
-Varys, the king of spies. Being betrayed by his only friend. Consumed by the fire of one of the many royals and leaders he helped. -The hound; a true warrior, dies like a true warrior. -Sir Jaime and Queen Cersei Lannister, the weight of being royalty was too much them. In the end they were captives by theyre own royal status. In the end they got crushed by theyre own palace. Figurally and litterly speaking. -Euron Greyjoy dies while saying he killed Jaime Lannister. But that wasn't the case. Just shows Euron Greyjoy was all talk.
Game of thrones promised us to show us the ugly face of war and death. And they delivered.
I agree. Very good points. Especially Jaimie and Cersei dying the way you pointed out, I never thought about that.
Way too many haters on the last episode. Drogon and daenerys watched as their brother/child Rhaegal suffered a painful death with a scorpion arrow through the throat. Then, Cersei murders that ebony lady (I forget her name.. Messelei or something), so what was Cersei expecting??? I liked how this episode showed how brutally powerful Drogon was, he’s basically a Deathwing in arena.
The relentless massacre of thousands of innocent was tough to watch, but it’s GoT and this show is never easy to watch. Daenerys is becoming the new mad queen and will kill anyone in her way to reach the throne. Now the tables have turned and she is the tyrant.
and for those saying “oh the scorpions got nerfed” I mean really? Do you have any idea how hard it would be to hit a flying dragon with an oversized crossbow that is heavy and hard to maneuver? How fast does Drogon fly, like 70 km/hr? I’ve been hunting before and it wasn’t the easiest thing shooting a flying duck with a shotgun so I couldn’t imagine taking down a dragon
1. "becoming the new mad queen" In scope of 1 episode, right. Helluva character development.
2. Yet it wasn't an issue to 3 out of 3 a flying dragon just last week. From a moving fucking boat.
You're right about the show not being easy to watch though. Not for the right reasons.
Lol they got blindsided when they weren’t expecting it and were flying in a linear path. Apparently dragons are very intelligent creatures, so do you not think Drogon learned how to adapt to being shot at? For example like I don’t know maybe flying super low against the sea, always maneuvering, being very aggressive.
And also it wasn’t in one episode she turned. I think Daenerys started to change when she found out about Jon's true identity. Think about it man, she’s been basically getting shat on ever since she went north to help out.

Meca’thun warrior. I went 46-19 to legend beating other warriors (mostly control) 12-3.
