As usual, my vote goes to Stonetusk Boar. The developers have mentioned that the card is "design limiting" multiple times, especially around the time of the yearly rotation.
Also, with Skulking Geist rotating out, there may be some problematic 1-Cost spells that could find their way in the Hall of Fame.
I believe the only time a promotional Tavern Brawl happened was during the launch cycle of The Grand Tournament. You were given a premade deck that was Inspire vs Joust themed.
Times were different back then, the patch that included all the new cards was implemented about a week before the actual launch so such a Brawl could take place. Now-a-days the launch cycle is much shorter in order to retain hype for the new content. The Brawls will happen, they always do.
Won't work because your totem wouldnt stay frozen because it never attacked.
I'll be honest, I didn't know it worked that way. Freezing my minions on my turn is something I usually don't do. I guess there's that 1 in 4 chance you get Searing Totem and are able to attack with it before freezing it. Then you have to hope your opponent can't kill a frozen 1/1. It's not happening is it?
I don't think this card is good enough to place in your deck. However, I like that it's in the game. Discovering this card through Bloodscalp Strategist or other such cards might just be the correct choice sometimes.
I'm really liking those "Discard the lowest cost card" effects. Finally giving the player a bit more control over it is a welcome change I hope to see more of. Clutchmother Zavas synergy anyone?
A midrange type deck that wants to trade with everything, shuffling cheap minions back into your deck. Turn 10, play Surrender and Bwonsamdi to get a full refill of 1 mana +2/+2 minions. We'll see...
It'll probably be used for some OTK shenanigans instead. Haha.

If there's any upside to this card at all it's this:
Responding to your opponent's rage filled friend request messages after defeating them with, "Get Gonked".

As usual, it'll probably be the 0-cost cards that take folks by surprise.

Turn 4: Ice Cream Peddler

Turn 2: Totemic Call
Turn 3: Hyldnir Frostrider
Turn 4: Ice Cream Peddler
Freeze Shaman hype?

So basically, your hero becomes Giant Sand Worm? I see nothing wrong with the wording here.
Thank goodness this card doesn't support existing Druid decks. This card and archetype might not be competitive, but I'm still excited to try it out.

To be honest, it's such a simple to understand mechanic, like how Lifesteal is. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw it sprinkled in future expansions.

Support like this is what Beast Druid needed in the past. Now I'm curious to see what else the class gets.
24 HP Witchwood Grizzly anyone?

The word "Deathrattle" should be written in large letters in the first post.

Die Insect! Die Insect!

Now Surrender to Madness makes a lot more sense after this reveal.

A neutral Vulgar Homunculus or Wyrmrest Agent? Yeah, this'll see play.
