Probably won't see use in constructed. Maybe someone will use it on their reno/highlander deck. Most probably not.

ShadowPuppts posted a message on shaman shamingPosted in: Standard FormatAs for my opinion, i prefer playing a harder deck to play with rather than an easy/beginner deck to play with. And i love wrecking shaman using my control warrior xD Dont know why people complaining about shaman when play as a control warrior. But as a control warrior i love facing shaman.. cos if you know how to play it, shaman won't stand a chance on you. :)

cluelesspug posted a message on (Fan made) Druid spell - Hidden NaturePosted in: Fan CreationsQuestion: Can this spell target minions that already cost 2 or less? If so, what happens? I imagine nothing would happen, like when you try to Evolve a 10-drop?
I actually think this card is balanced well. If you turn a 3-drop into a 0-drop or a 4-drop into a 1-drop, that's pretty huge. However, turning an enemy 8-drop into a 5-drop isn't really that good at all, because you probably still have to trade with the 5-drop. This seems like more of an early game removal tool.
You can also, for example, trade in a friendly Arcane Giant and then Hidden Nature it into a healthy 9-drop and draw a card. That seems very powerful.
Flexible card, balanced card, good card. I like it :) My only problem is that RNG can screw people with this card.

Remster101 posted a message on Rematch option idea.Posted in: General DiscussionWhy not just have it be for casual, then you can rematch as many times as you want.
Having it be for ranked play seems like a bad option. You say only 1 rematch, but that 1 rematch is huge when you are trying to go for top 100 legend, especially when they are giving away tournament points. Or at least have the rematch have no bearing on rank (which wouldn't make much logistical sense).

Zerolim posted a message on Rematch option idea.Posted in: General DiscussionHave you ever had a ranked match be so intense and could of gone either way? Or a simply amazing match filled with hilarious rng?
What about a "One Time Rematch" option if both parties agreed, like an option after the match where you collected stars/legend ranking? Which could be disabled in the options menu for those who find it annoying like emotes.
Now, for the obvious comments.
1. "You can just friend them" Some people's lists are full, and it wouldn't be ranked, so you couldn't redeem your lost stars or gain more.
2. "It could be abused to climb faster." No, it'd be a one time per day & player option. Example being you could rematch Bob once, and then Joe, but not Bob twice in a given day.
3. "What's the point?" Read the post. But ideally for Fun & wanting a second chance at beating that smug shaman or hunter.
4. "Does it only work for ranked matches?" No, works for standard ranked & casual, wild ranked and casual, as well as Tavern Brawls.
What do y'all think? Be constructive if I missed out on something I may of over looked.

Aeramacoc posted a message on Which HS cards would make it into a deck of 52 playing cards?Posted in: General DiscussionWhich HS cards do you think should go into a 52 card deck?
Who gets the coveted Ace of Spades spot?
Should each suit be a faction? (Dragons=Spades, Murloc=Diamonds, etc.)
Or, should different expansions make up different suits?
Who would make a royal flush?Really interested to see what you all come up with!

TheRealMalfurion posted a message on shaman shamingPosted in: Standard FormatAre you serious? Do you truly believe Midrange Shaman is hard to play? Have you ever heard of Miracle Rogue, Freeze Mage, Patron Warrior, Mill decks and Control Warrior? What did you expect at ranks 5+? Did you really think your choice of deck would really carry you to Legend? Are you complaining that it takes actual skill to earn you the rank despite your deck's insane winrate (it was 56% at one point with other decks having a 50% average winrate)? I guess you are part of the demographic that 18 decks would be too complicated for (after all you don't need more than 1 deck slot for the strongest deck in the meta, so what is the point, right?) and don't worry Blizzard will always try to have a simple curvestone deck be powerful just so that people like you can win too (I can't guarantee people won't shame you for running it though).
Shaman has been given everything they could need to be good. They run 2 improved Fiery War Axes, 2 1 mana spells that deal 3 damage, 4 AOEs and on top of that have the most insane early game in the game (with Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem, Flamewreathed Faceless and Thing from Below). If that wasn't enough after turn 7 you can't afford to let them have any totems because then they punish you for it with Thunder Bluff Valiant. You clear their board? I guess it is time to play 0 mana 5/5 and a few other minions and you are again facing a huge board.
Basically most decks in Hearthstone have some kind of weakness that a few decks can exploit. That ensures that when someone is playing a certain deck even if that becomes too strong, people can just run its counters to beat it. This drops said deck from Tier 1 and the decks you used to counter it become Tier 1 instead and people run decks to counter those. In this ideal scenario we have an ever-changing meta-game that allows the game to remain fresh. Now what do you think happens when a deck is so broken that it doesn't have good counters? That deck remains Tier 1 and this forces people to either run that deck or just accept the situation and play decks that soft-counter this top deck to at least have a chance against (in this way they also make their deck weak to other matchups).
That is the situation right now. Midrange Shaman is stupidly overpowered and it is just a simple curvestone deck. No matter how you try to spin it and make it look like it is not that bad you can't fool people who have played against it. What baffles me is the way Blizzard 'fixed' the problem. Before Karazhan the deck was good, but decks like Zoo could fight it off. Then Blizzard thought that that was unacceptable and introduced Spirit Claws and Maelstrom Portal so that this 'skillful' deck would have even fewer counters. Do you think Malygos Druid would be that good if Midrange Shaman didn't hard counter Zoo? Zoo has been traditionally favored against Druid and if it wasn't so unfavored against Midrange Shaman it would have forced Druid down as well as Midrange Shaman. Do you understand now the Shaman shaming? It is not just about Midrange Shaman, but about the effect that deck has on the game and how stale it has forced it to become.
