I was wondering if the shortened BlizzardCS campaign was a sign of possible open beta coming sooner than expected. Pretty sure that just me getting overly excited though.
No matter what the true intention of the message is, it was generally positive in nature.
So EU English Twitter did the key hunt, EU Polish (I think?) Twitter is doing a Q/A giveaway. I wonder what Blizz has in store for us in NA? Hopefully it's more than one or two keys...
They said to watch the page form about 8am-12pm pacific. So who knows, if that's when all the "waves" will happen, or if there will be some evening ones. I'll be free for pretty much that entire time, but hopefully if it is beta keys, they'll do some a little bit later for the folks at work/in class or those in the overseas.
Ninja am i missing something or there is no "2nd method" this time ? The link you mentioned earlier is for the first sweepstakes that happened and finished on 3rd if i am not mistaken. I really don't want to get in to FB either so, just making sure.
Ya, doesn't look like there's another way this time, or rather, no details on one yet.
Just sucks that you wrote the last one off, and there really was a way for you to enter without a FB account.
After reading a few replies on the post, I get the feeling that this will be a "first come, first served" style giveaway. Seems like a strange thing for Blizz to do though...
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I haven't read that FAQ because I usually avoid anything facebook related. I still hate that method though, for the same reason that Rokous stated.
I wish they would have just advertised it as a contest, with the option of signing up with FB credentials. I used FB a lot, but I hate contests spamming up my friends feeds on my behalf.
I wonder if they are implying an open beta weekend?
Q. Do I need a Facebook account to enter this promotion?
A. No. While entering with a Facebook account will provide you with some additional benefits, such as the ability to share news of if you've won with your friends, you don't need an account to participate. If you'd like to enter, but don’t have a Facebook account (and don't want one), you can click on the "Alternate Method of Entry" link at the bottom of the official rules page. You can also find a link to it here.

The BlizzardCS facebook key giveaway ends on Oct 4th. So at least another month.
From what I've seen from streams, the game is pretty polished, but there's still some visible bugs in the UI.

Ya the calculator I used had incorrect timezones/hours. Minutes and seconds are correct though.

I waited about 5 seconds before clicking send. My PM is stamped at xx:05:17.

BTW BlizzardCS post was at 09 / 06 / 13 @ 2:05:07am EST this time if you want to compare times. Not that the timestamp actually matters....

Obviously Blizz isn't using the timestamp to select the winners then. Must be first into their inbox, so the timestamps probably don't mean a thing.

I hate drafting decks, so I'll never really use Arena that much...

If its a fan giveaway, people cry "scam!" If it's legit Blizz giveaway through FB/Twitter, people cry "bots!"

Thanks for the heads up. Excited to see whatever they have up their sleeves.
