doesn't really seem optimized tbh. Ragnaros and Sylvanas are definitely too slow, especially since you dropped Tomb Pillager.

posted a message on (OP)inions about Ungoro?

Hunter will definitely become meta, mostly due to a few reasons:

    a) Un'goro features plenty of dinosaurs which are beasts and have the new Adapt keyword, which seems like it could be very strong if you put them onthe right minions and seeing how Gentle Megasaur proves that Adapt can be applied in different ways and not only just to one specific minion there is a good chance hunter will have some strong synergies

    b) Hunter actually got a bunch of good cards in Gadgetzan, but the dominance of aggro and Shaman in particular, as well as very removal focused boardclears just overshadowed his potential. Cards like Rat Pack or Dispatch Kodo are pretty good even without Handbuffs and Hunter won't lose a whole lot of cards in the rotation (mainly just Quickshot and the very underrated Explorer's Hat)

    c) We can also assume that Blizzard saw hunter's weak state and will try to give them even more powerful card, potentially even giving themm the shaman treatment and making them the most broken card for the next standard rotation or something like that...not that I want that to happen, but it's Blizzard....they'll do that.

    d) finally, Hunter in general is always strong in a meta were he isn't outvalued by other midrange/aggro decks. Midrange shaman as we know it will be gone after the rotation (no more Trogg+Golem powerstarts) and while Pirate Warrior will still remain as a powerful aggro deck, I am quite certain that Blizzard will at least attempt to introduce more counters to it.

Aside from that Jade decks will  probably be played a lot,, at least initially and Midrange Hutner has pretty good matchup against those, assuming he gets some more pwoerful early-game minions.

On another note, Murloc decks are probably be going strong. Gentle Megasaur proves that the Murloc synergy is still being kept alive and we all saw how Finja managed to make Murlocs competitive jsut by himself. Murloc Shaman won't be as great because no more Everyfin, but the aforementioned Megasaur might make up for it.

Blizzard needs to make Un'goro count, since they're making a lot more risky moves lately (3 expansions/year, Price increases in europe, more Heoric brawls, controversial Arena changes). If Un'goro doesn't at least deliver in some aspects (class diversity, less aggro, no more insane RNG cards) then Hearthstone might ose a large part of its playerbase...it won't die of course, but it will make it harder for them t convince players to invest in their game, which is, at the end of the day, their main goal

posted a message on Jade Druid - S36 - no more pirate decks

this is just regular Jade Druid and it's not even teched against the current meta.

Also, double Innervate sucks, the card is just dead in hand so often and it's not worth to keep it around just for Gadgetzan. One is enough

Don't get why people act like they HAVE to buy packs? Just grind some gold or preorder new expansions.

YOu do realize that nothing'ss going to change if you complain about higher prices and then buy their stuff anyways?

not run bloodfen raptor in your deck and put in something useful like a Flame Juggler or literally anything else that isn't a vanilla 3/2 with no benefitial effect

I believe the main upside of Shaku is that you get a solid 3-drop that doesn't need to be combod with anything whereas Xaril is a little more awkward to play since the 4mana spot is usually inhabited by Tomb Pillager

posted a message on What would you craft?

Fandral is pretty much a necessity in almsot any Druid deck so if you're a fan of druid you will need it

Finja seems pretty strong with all these murloc decks around and it looks like Ungoro will continue to support murlocs so if you really wanna play Murloc decks (especially now with the murloc synergies still around) then go for it.

Leeroy is good in Rogue and aggro decks....also Renolock, but renolock is dead once the rotation hits. Probably wouldn'T craft it unless you have a specific deck in mind

posted a message on Well what did you think of The Year of The Kraken?

Was fun until Karazhan hit and Midrange Shaman basically lsot all of his weaknesses...couple that with the CoW  and Yogg nerf and Shaman just outclassed almost any other deck in the meta...and then Gadgetzan happened and we all know where that led us.

Basically a bunch of well meant bad decisions led to the shaman meta...and now just hope they learned from it

posted a message on I think I made Hunter Viable
    Quote from KitsuneRTC >>

Long story short: NO you didn't....because you can't

HUnter isn't in a bad spot because they have bad cards. It's because there's a lot of stuff in the meta that completely shuts them down, mainly Reno and Shaman with their extremely potent starts and removal/boardclears.

Hunter has a giant arsenal of tools athis disposal, hell my own attempts to make a great hunter deck were mostly stifled by the fact that HUnter hass TOO MANY goo dcards at the moment and i jsut can't fit all of them in one deck.

Hunter will rise after the rotation, I'm sure of it. Without Trogg and Totem Golem Hunter will once again be the class with the most powerful early drops. (xept for maybe Pirate warriors or Zoolocks) and maybe Call of the Wild will make a return. Plus,  with reno gone, control decks are much more vulnerable to Hunter's constant face pressure

The list i made only loses bear trap and ragnaros, it literally will eat up decks when reno is gone and taunt priest is gone (aka dragon priest). I can understand your frustration but the truth is my list with buzzard, it has made it more viable to actually play the deck since pirate warrior is a lot less common in the meta now. the second list i made with a bit more reach and less secrets is a lot better.
my friend, I understand what you mean, but that wasn't my point.
I like your deck, I think it's really creative with bringing Buzzard back and all that, but as good as it might be it's not "viable" in the sense that it can and will be beaten by other popular metadecks on basis of ressources alone. Pirate warrior isn't even a problem nowadays, it's mostly all the variations of Shaman that will mess up your day.
this deck is apparently working for you and it has a clear strategy behind it, but as time goes by you will find that a lot of decks that are actually optimized towards the current meta will beat it regularly.
I wish you best luck with this deck and I hope Un'goro brings a bunch of cards that you can add to it and really make it shine

posted a message on How to fix Jade for Dummies

no. that is dumb. that solves literally nothing. Stop trying tot design with no idea how to. thanks.

also,  the meta is fairly diverse compared to previous ones.

We got Jade SHaman, jade Druid, Miracle Rogue, reno Mage, reno lock, Dragon Priest, Warrior variations + any off-meta decks that aren#t top tier.

Your Jade idol nerf does literally nothing to tackle the real problem other than emoving its purpose entirely.

Jade idol was intentionally designed to kill control/fatigue decks, since those decks (especially warrior) for the longest time had no counter other than "kill them before it's too late" What they screwed up is the efficiency.

Jade Idol should be 2 mana "summon a Jade golem/shuffle 2 jade idols in your deck"

I play Jade druid a lot and even against control there were some close matchups, simply due to the fact that at some point your hand will run out of cards and you will only draw one jade idol at a time. However, that disadvantage is almost completely negated when you can also shuffle 3 of those back in your deck, ensuring at least 2 Golems until you have to shuffle again. Also, the 1 mana cost is too ridiciulous when combined with Auctioneer.

also, nerfing Aya makes no difference at all. The whole appeal of Aya is the fact that you ramp up 2 golems in one card, her decent attack stat is really just a bonus.

+ your comparison with "shamanzor"  isn't valid since aya doesn't consistently summon 3/3s and 4/4s. In some games you might not even get any jades up before turn 6. The entire idea of jades is that they only start being valuable if you managed to get a few ones out before and if your opponent can pressure you before that you might lose.

at the end of the day, Jades aren't going to overtake the meta as long as Hunter makes a comeback in Un'goro + the rotation of Brann bronzebeard. Also, Jade Druid will probably still be inferior to Jde Shaman because their jade cards are a lot stronger on their own.

Tl;DR you fail to identify what makes jades problematic
