The best counter for ropers is laundry. You can empty and fill a machine during their turn (if your laundry machine is in your home that is) and you can use the next couple turns on hanging it on the drying rack. You can also make a sandwich or brush your teeth if it's late ;)
Once I let go of the initial DH hate (because THAT was awful design) I actually think that the class is one of the better designs there. I'd arguably join the priest wagon if hunter isn't actually the one.
Priest because the most exciting thing they can do is "NOT play priest". And light/shadow dualism isn't really a unique/special thing anyway. Most classes can also swing between ideologies.
Hunter because the class identity is bland and stuck. They didn't really make ranged weapons a thing, the high DPS vibe isn't really interesting, so hunter is pretty much stuck with "strong cards and beasts"...
I suppose warlock could eat them with tempo. Play some gigantic minions and maybe have some taunts or use some of the many disruption cards to take their brann (they use brann right?)
For power: Whatever, most legendary cards suck anyway and are better as possible discover options. No titans is BIG thou
But for the drafting experience and deck consistency it's a big deal. Knowing that you can get the one crucial synergy card in your first pick only may even add some definable skill to it :p
As much as I like the idea of some max health stealing card, It's a hot mess for this type of reward. As long as you can guarantee it through excavate, it will be a popular card, and as long as it's a legendary reward it must be powerful. No point in having one single card that steals 3 health, that would be an epic card. For a single legendary reward it's actually fair enough but they must restrict this effect from going off multiple times somehow.
Is Clean the Scene really that much easier to play than Xyrella ? Is Hollow hound that good on its own? Is Brawl not at least as stupid as the other cards you mentioned?
I will give you that many of the questlines were poorly designed with Seek Guidance being an absolute medal winner in bad design. I would also think that most hero cards fits your description of bad design a lot better than the cards you mentioned. Just reading you list tells me: You love control warrior and hates when you lose to hunter and priest for symbolic reasons :)
People were leaving the game for being "uninteractive" and "hand-based". The colossal minions introduced the first properly board based meta in over a year which was meat with an outstandingly positive reception. Just a reminder of what the alternative can be.
Titans I'm more mixed about. They make hard removal worth a lot more and are still pretty easy to remove with a net-gain in value (with the exception of Sargeras, the Destroyer ) My take is that the game is so old by now, that radical changes has to happen with every expansion for people to stay interested.
He's basically a worse version of Archbishop Benedictus which I don't recall being particularly useful. Unless you want to lose the game slower...
The only real deck idea I see for him now, is giving your aggressive deck a plan B, which generally is done much better with a hero card. You won't use this guy for fatigue escape and the value he gives you could have been outnumbered much cheaper.
Not saying that a Kazakusan meta is impossible, but....
The yogg change seems reasonable, but couldn't they just as well have deleted Tony and Jailer?
Suggestions could be: Tony lets YOU draw from your opponents deck and Jailer could either have life steal + rush or give some choice of punishment or make him cheaper at least?

If you think about it, a 3 mana spell that kills a minion is solid. Control hunter is gonna be a thang :p

TRUE! You can't really surpass something that was always behind :)
