Defender is shite yes, but you also had only 5 health left and bgh made sense as a value removal over polymorph. Sure mass dispel should have been the card instead of defender and maybe polymorph instead of flame (unless you had a high attack minion), but I guess zeph can't read that one character is only out of lethal range due to another characters passive ability. I remember him being better thou...

It looks like Zeph can't tell that the immune is from Mal G, so he only offers responds to the board, since silence wouldn't "save you" from the board. I can see legacy cards with legacy water marks at least.

Another solid deck you made there. Surprisingly good against anything that isn't mech paladin. I'm even considering ditching guff, since he's mostly just useful if you're going full wombo combo, which is a potential OTK too.

That you don't need big spells to run naga synergy and even get some tempo going before you maul the shit out of your opponent, really makes it the best questline druid deck I've seen.

If you need to hit with the actual ability I guess you just have to play a lot and maybe you'll be in the situation and get lucky. I get that some like to chase the achievements, but I don't think that this is the one...

Last I checked, you could do something very funny with these 3 cards and something that gives taunt: Immortal Prelate[card], [card]Da Undatakah, Silver Vanguard. You can make an Da Undatakah with taunt that shuffles a copy of itself back into your deck and the summons itself when it dies. The version it summons keeps enchantments. It becomes an unkillable taunt, (as long as it isn't silenced or something).

And you can add one last deathrattle for infinite mill/heal/damage

posted a message on Oracle of Elune should not work with cost reduced minions

I actually think that an "after you summon a minion that costs 2 or less" should skip mana cheat and be a semi buff as well. or just say origonal cost. On the other hand there's a point in making big board clear better by allowing big late game board combos like this

You still have over a week before the nerf refund ends for raid the docks. You can just craft it, play and disenchant the card when you get tired of pirates

    I would add Mr SMorc

4 mana 3/3 Battlecry: Summon two 2/3 cannons with "whenever a friendly character attacks fire 2 damage at the enemy twice".

I'm not sure if he's playable thou. Maybe give him charge too?

posted a message on Kazakusan nerf unhealthy for Hearthstone

I'm a bit confused by OP. The devs exactly pointed out that Kaz got nerfed to avoid polarizing druid even further. Nobody accused Kaz for being the "meta breaker", even thou the devs called Kaz a solo win con. So, Instead of killing the tempo or survivability of ramp druid they went for the late game win con, to give control decks a better chance against ramp. Other decks like dragon priest and control warrior should (hopefully) be able to play 4 dragons before, so you could call this nerf an attempt to move Kaz from only the typical ramp druid deck. Now if that will ultimately work I can't tell and it's too early to know anyway. I don't think that anybody disagrees that the main strength of ramp druid is... ramp. It's guff that carries the deck along with the mana gain/refill/cheat. Aggro still punishes ramp by nature, so maybe a 1 turn delay of guff won't make the game any more enjoyable, even thou Guff is an over tuned card.

Btw: That people argue with your "anti fatigue is the main purpose" argument is pretty expectable since you presented it as your main point, even if that wasn't really your standpoint.

TOO WEAK! Patches should start in your hand and summon 3 pirates from your deck!

I dont think Smite is a problem, its more so changing the Juggernaut and Nellie to only summon/discover pirates that cost (5) or less. This way Hooktusk and Smite cant be generated.

I got no problem if they hard run smite, especially in 1200 legend where I treat them as free wins. Its a problem in the gold plat areas but people should understand that they make up the majority of the playerbase and their opinions might not match with ours (aka high legend players) but the game is designed for everyone. So we dont need any toxicity (Ive done it as well in the past).

Let me know what yall think about my change; removes the highroll without nerfing smite.

posted a message on Charge problem.

Design wise I think that pirate warrior has too much high-roll potential and for that it seems like the team is nerfing the decks consistency for the second time, which I'm rather sceptic towards. At this point I think that smite is a fine card in itself, but a bad card to have in the generation pool. I don't think that nelly should be a dice roll for smite and I don't think that raid the docks should be nerfed, just to postpone an "undeserved" win. I would rather have set Nelly and Juggernaut to generate cards that cost 5 or less.

It's not that I don't like rng. I love epic lucky moments, but with these two cards it feels kind of dumb. If you put lady prestor in your quest hunter deck, to kill me with a coldara drake, I'll have to give you some credit for the effort, but pirate warrior makes it feel like Yatzy, which isn't the worst game but...

Otherwise I think it's cool that pirates have gotten a more midrange profile with some solid value and I don't mind if people use Nelly to have some juice for the smite that they kept in their hand. Charge encourages taunts, which ultimately makes the game more board based.
