posted a message on POLL: Hearthstone Classic / Vanilla

Who else thinks the game has become too bloated and Blizzard too greedy, and would like the option to have the classic HS as it was on release? I guess the balance issues back then could be fixed but other than that I'd really enjoy just logging on every now and then to play the good old decks I used to.

I started playing HS during beta and I remember it was really fun once you really got to know all the typical decks and collected the cards. The best point was that it was free to play. You earned gold and got your card packs. Today it's pay to win. It would take an eternity to collect everything and to be honest, personally I wouldn't even want to. It's not the game I remember anymore.

I know I'm not alone, but on this forum I might get some hate for this. I guess I just wanted to make this opinion visible again. Blizzard should consider it. Some of us can't spend the money or time to keep up with their expansions and stuff. And some of us just miss how it used to be.

    Added a poll ;)

posted a message on Hearthstone Classic

Personally I wouldn't want this as a brawl or rotated mode, I'd want Hearthstone Classic altogether even if as a standalone game. I had the most fun in this game from beta through release and I'd prefer that over what we have now. If there can be a WoW Classic, there can be a Hearthstone Classic!

The eye could symbolize so many things in Warcraft lore. C'thun, Darkmoon Faire, the Kirin Tor, the eye of Eternity, the eye of Kilrogg etc. But the elemental damage thing could mean it'll be an expansion about the elemental lords: Ragnaros, Al'akir, Neptulon and Therazane.

posted a message on Anyone else a little disappointed we didn't get the new heroes?

The Kobolds dungeon run would be even more of a waste of time. I did this one since I kinda expected the heroes as a reward!

    Quote from Soltarg >>

blizzard never reward you that much. It is their policy to do neverending grinds for a really low reward. From hearthstone to every other published game.
    Sad.

Yeah if I know them right they'll let us BUY these heroes for real money soon...

I really enjoyed the monster hunt adventure, but I have to say I kinda expected us to get all 4 new heroes once we were done, but there was only a card back.

The reason I thought so is they have full emotes and everything ready. I'd especially like to replace that old boring Jaina with Toki, she's awesome! Of course they wouldn't have the hero powers from the adventure but just the hero skins would be nice.

Thanks, this worked on first try! Except I didn't destroy her weapon but I ended up with so many taunt minions it didn't matter. :)

posted a message on Is it even possible to win with Toki?

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but I just found out during my run with Toki that you could get the double spell cast two times. On last boss I managed to beat her before she reset the game! Very lucky run.

posted a message on Top Decks of the Week for April 9

Quest Rogue has been really fun so far! I haven't played rogue much since the beta or back in vanilla when miracle rogue was at its peak. Hope it'll continue to be fun for a while before it gets hardcountered.

Tried this one, was up vs a quest mage. Finished my quest early and the mage left. :)  Most fun I've had with rogue in a long time.

posted a message on Questions about the import feature

Hey! First I just wanted to say thank you for this great app, synching my collection with this website is just great as well as the export/import features. I just started testing the import feature, and what came to my mind is that it does control the mouse and keyboard to type and add cards at a very fast speed. If I got it right, this works similarly as "bots" in some games do, by doing these things way faster than a human can.

    My two questions are:
    1. Can the import feature count as botting to Blizzard, in a way that they could actually ban us for using it?
    2. Will you make the import feature able to detect whether or not standard/wild mode is selected in the deck creator and swap between them? Last night I was importing a wild deck but it just locked the cursor when it couldn't find the cards since I had forgot to set it to wild beforehand. (Not a major problem, of course!)

posted a message on Mike Morhaime on Combating Racism in Hearthstone

I didn't mention freedom of speech or liberty. Nor political correctness. What I said was just common sense, something parents should teach their children these days so they don't waste their time spreading hate on the internet when they could do good things instead.

posted a message on Mike Morhaime on Combating Racism in Hearthstone

All this hate, racism, sexism, homophobia, you name it, everywhere on the internet just because people are who they are. We don't choose skin color, gender, health etc when we're born, yet we're all more or less hated for it. And everywhere you just meet the mentality "lol man up, it's the internet". That's the exact mentality which allows the hate to keep growing. Instead of telling everyone to ignore the hate, tell them it's not ok and start with yourselves by not thinking negative about everything and everyone by default. Or go say the same things to your parents that you say in chat and see if they laugh about it.
