It bothers me how there's 5 wild rogue decks and if u mulligan against 1, you lose against 3 others on turns 3-4 (exception being yogg rogue who never wins lul) Decks i have in mind are Mech rogue - keep starfish Pirate rogue - starfish being useless, buy you need early removals like bladestorm, which is bad vs mech rogue Kingsbane rogue - Hard mulligan for weapon tech, removals/starfish u kept vs 2 decks above are useless Miracle rogue - You need removals for 8/8 giants on t3-t5 so if u kept weapon tech/starfish you are fucked. Decks diversity is great. But the fact that all of the above decks kills you on t3-t5 if u dont guess correctly at the start of the game is ridiculous
It took me 2-3 years but I’ve finally reached legend *without* playing a netdeck. Holy shit, what a rush. At D5-1, all warriors are identical and my deck is tailored to deal with them. Got a lot of warriors.
Must Rogue are the same too, provided you survive the first five rounds, you win.
Anyway, living proof you don’t need to play net decks to reach legend. To some extent, playing the meta makes you predictable.
I had the same good feeling when i first time used my hand-made mill-druid to reach legend in wild. It was WAAAAY before dew process/tony/solar eclipse non-sense. I had to use cards like Forest Guide and Grove Tender and boy it was satisfying to play deck/cards that noone ever played
Remember when they killed Galakrond, the Nightmare because 0 mana cards were too strong? And yet we still have Relic of Dimensions which is just straight up the same card, but you can play 2 copies of it + how can u be so fucking retarded to keep playing relic DH with 1 new card after new expansion
The exact combo you mentioned isn't relevant really. But murloc package itself is broken as hell. Ice FIshing - ClownFish - Scargill + Gorloc + another clownfish + mutanus + flurgl + toxfin. And everything on turn4. And it's super consistent. Even if you are playing control deck that can deal with this broken ass tempo swing, they are playing every disruption in the game + ofc Shudderwock. Unless you are playing fun&interactive decks like QL Druid/Mine Rogue/Fizzle priest you have no chance against t2 Ice FIshing.
How do you beat shudderwock shaman? Or should i say murloc shaman? How the fuck do you beat t4 board full of murlocs with poison aoe? And later they pivot into Shudderwock infinite combo. You can't fucking outtempo them, and out-value them. What are your options?

Buff all warrior fire cards and Armor cards. They are small baby version of druid cards it’s ridiculous.
Nerf: Shadow priest Frostworm fury, dh, Druid, rouge (mainly pirate weapon stuff and a bit of concoction spam) Warlock (mana cheat is ridiculous), Paladin, shaman (totems)
Buff: mage (be very careful with burn stuff, perhaps buff skeleton package for value playstyle) Priest (a lot of cards are simply too fair compared to rest of the meta, reduce svalna to a 5 mana drop and the spell she gives to 2 mana) Undead dk buff perhaps reduce mana cost of 1 or 2 cards Shaman (cards that doesn’t include totems), Paladin (mainly the core stuff like hammer of wrath etc), Hunter leave as it is, gonna rise up after other classes have been tuned down in worst case reduce mana cost of 1-2 cards.
So you want to nerf warlocks, who is simply non-existant in this meta? Or idk, maybe there's secret Silver 7 meta that im not aware of
Somehow good. Control/big priests KIngsbane/Pirate/Miracle/Mine rogues Even/Shudderwock shamans Secret/Quest mages Quest-attack druids And that's pretty much it. 5 classes with few decks But that is only if u have stupidly high elo like me, you should be able to have more fun if you are not
