I swear to God I've never seen a card so toxic, so rage-inducing and so unhealthy for the game like Theotar having played this game since Naxx wasn't even released. A nerf for this card is not enough for this game, this card must be banned forever in Standard, Wild, and whatever game mode is available. This card is the absolute king of lousy design, non-interactive gameplay, and conclusive demonstration that you don't need skill in the slightest to play this game.

I agree I want Demon Hunter and specially Pala to rise again. But seeing the oppressive kind of cards they have to play against is a huge task. Either you face stomped by a hunter with the wild seeds, having to face a 2 mana give a minion +5/5 and 2 mana draw 7 cards, being constantly frozen by a mage, or shaman punishing you for playing for the board instead of ignoring it. That's why I love naga priest this expansion. It has excellent new cards like Pelagos, the location, the 2/5 for 4 mana that summons another one, and you feel rewarded for playing for the board, which was supposed to be the concept Team 5 wanted for this expansion to be. But with cards like that all that is thrown down the bin. And using the starfish is not even the solution to it. I hope the miniset and the nerfs do something for God's sake.
I would even say that they might released Lor'themar in the third expansion as the paladin legendary,in the second one Turalyon(mostly because he is a commander of the Light against the Burning Legion) or Maarad but still I will have hope for Maarad to arrive at Hearthstone.
Still he is bounded by lore with Draenor or now Outland.Being this expansion based on Burning Crusade even part of it in Legion they could have released him with no problem they even put Lady Liadrin who is way more relevant in the events of the Kil'Jaeden attack on Azeroth using the Sun Well as his portal thanks to Kael'thas actions due to his corruption due to fel magic.But Maarad? He was the one who protected his people from the attack of the orcs lead by the orders of Kil'Jaeden and Ner'zhul even the Dark Temple was an former draenei temple transformed in what is was in Burning Crusade due to the use of fel magic by the orc warlocks and the Burning Legion.He could have been a great character from this expansion.Even I would dare to say that Liadrin should have been released as a legendary paladin card in the third expansion of this year which of course is going to be related to the Sun Well and she as the Matriarch of the Blood Knights would have been a better choice,in my opinion and let Maarad this place.
Welp I like Lady Liadrin but we all wanted to see Maarad as a prime mostly as a card for heavy control.This has only word to describe it:dissapointment.
I feel the same of all the impressive paladin characters Maarad,Yrel,A'dal or even a Naaru they have to pick a fucking random murloc.By God's sake Blizzard we had hope in you with the librams,the draenei cards but instead we get more murloc boring playstyle cards.Why Blizzard,why you had to be like this?
Welp this is my concept of what could be the paladin's prime minion a fan and lore favourite from Burning Crusade himself: Vindicator Maarad.I made him a heavy control paladin minion because I want to see that archetype flourish alongside this new expansion.The main keyward of him is making enemy minions ablilities unable.In other words if they have a minion with battlecry or an effect after they awaken from dormant when they played the battecry will not trigger,dies and have a deathrattle,it will not activate.Furthermore when the enemy minions are displayed into the battlefield this card will act as mass silence constant effect while he is alived of course.This will make him the terror of all aggresive decks and a main counter to that broken new legendary demon hunter minion.Hope you enjoy it.
