There should at least be chat channels when not in game. How to find opponents and friends? Only being able to friend a vanquished opponent or some who just beat you is awkward.
Not the solution, need to see the big picture. The problem is not Leeroy or Auctioneer, it's card draw mechanics. Card draw has no counter - it is always beneficial in a deck and the more the better. In fact it is mandatory to include some card draw in every deck. Fatigue comes too late and is not effective at ending matches in a statistically significant sense. If there was an effect that penalized the opponent (or both players) for drawing then card draw centered decks would be de-emphasized.
Other than Miracle, there really isn't a viable aggro rogue - they just don't have the minions to pull it off. Aggro warrior is typically based on Frothing Berserker and cards like Rampage. The Kor'kron Elite and Warsong Commander are also useful. I have examples of both a rogue aggro and warrior aggro deck.
For sure, and have done it twice. I started accounts in Europe and a second NA account to get the Launch card back. I have obtained all season backs on both accounts including this one using a zoo warrior style deck. It was a little rough at first but after getting 10 or so packs it got a lot easier and it was fun to get excited about opening something as simple a a knife juggler or a sun walker.
Sorry to rain on the conspiracy theory parade but the likely explanation is that the delay is due to a small development team having to divert resources to address a game-breaking exploit when they were already more than likely behind on the Naxx development.
If we are talking about a basic card only, then mage. The mage deck quickly runs out of gas as you start to rack up wins and play stronger opponents. Once you start to get a few packs with better low-cost minions, warrior is more effective.
Mill isn't possible in Hearthstone. There is no effect that can remove a card from an opponent's hand unless they already have 10 cards and if they do, good luck with that because they will likely wipe you the next turn or 2. I guess it may be possible to draw someone to death but if you can keep them from killing you then why not just kill them with spells or minions?
The deck build page has every card available in the game (and some that are not, like NOOOOOOOOOOOO. The easiest way for me is to put the game in a 1024x768 window so it can be side by side with the site (or some overlap) Then you can tell what cards you have, etc. Two screens can help, but I don't have that.
Last I checked the legendary cards come in the free packs just like the others. Why not just do your quests and get some of these cards or make them from dust?

If I was Blizzard I would limit the number of wings purchased with gold each day. Then I would laugh a maniacal laugh.

No wonder there is no chat. People can't even handle emotes without making a 'BM' thread...

Casual can be quite brutal on the weekends, I actually have an easier time with the ranked.
