I was expecting satire, but good for you! Personally I agree with Flamewreathed Faceless above, though. Don't mind playing aggro, but what I enjoy most are midranged decks. If the upcoming nerfs don't make them more viable, or at least tone down the combo decks, I'll just have to stop playing for my own mental well being. Pretty sure I won't be alone in that regard.
This is the dumbest reply I see again and again. You clearly don't understand what you are talking about. Hearthstone is MY favorite game and some dumb fuck at Blizzard has turned it into a pile of crap. So I can't just play another game nitwit.... What else is there to play ???
Match three? Defense tower? Solitaire?
Go back play your mage twiddly dumb
It’s so easy to spot the abusers of broken decks. Their mask slips off every time. They’ll point to some worthless statistic on some garage operation website to "prove" their point or as usual they attack you with the tried and true "git gud". Rich stuff. That’s what bad players do though. They are scared that their auto pilot, broken deck will get nerfed and it’s making them nervous since they can’t win any other way. Hearthstone has had some expansions that are better than others. That always happens. But this one IS putrid. It just promotes and actually forces one to play solitaire or hyper aggro. That’s IT. No midrange, no minion based decks at all, zero control or even later game decks. Hell, I’d argue that even tempo decks are mostly useless too since there’s no way to out tempo a deck that only draws cards and chucks spells at your face. Or, even funnier, chucks spells at their OWN face. What a monumental joke.
No it isn't. This is just what people like you tell yourself because you've already convinced yourself that you're absolutely correct and that nobody could possibly disagree with you unless they are an 'abuser'.
It's childish and something I only ever see from low intelligence people. If you don't like an argument that includes statistical data, counter it with actual data and facts. Any brain dead cretin can sit there and strawman anybody who disagrees with them into oblivion. It takes zero intelligence or knowledge. It's basically like saying "I know you are, I said you are but what am I?"
You're very clearly driven by ego and bias. You don't want to entertain the possibility that maybe you aren't playing very well or making good decisions. You're deluded enough into being convinced that it cannot possibly be anything to do with you, you won't even have a reasonable discussion with someone who disagrees. Yep, it's way, way easier to just say "merrrr you must be pwaying wiff dat deck den you abooser" than it is to actually construct a proper argument which is backed up by data to evidence your point. You don't need evidence, you just need your feelings....
Honestly, that's how you sound. No, I don't play quest mage, no I don't like playing against it, no it isn't God tier, it isn't this unbeatable deck that rolls through anything and everything. It just isn't, I dislike the way the deck plays as well but it can be teched against and several decks can rush it down. I've had a lot of success against it with quest druid. The armor gain you build as well as the amount of face damage you can push with your hero is just too much for them, unless they get an absolute god draw and can get themselves to fatigire very quickly so they can abuse the infinite damage.
As long as you keep convincing yourself that anybody who disagrees with you is an 'abuser' or works for Blizzard, you'll continue just sitting and festering in your own filth. I'm only in diamond 2 at the minute but hardly see mages. In fact, I just checked deck tracker and in the last 49 games I've played, I've faced 7 mages.
I'm going to guess you're playing at a low rank.... Low ranks with low skilled players see these types of decks way more often. In part probably because that type of player doesn't react, counter and find solutions. That is what skilled, rational players do. They come on forums and spam the same rants about the deck being god tier because they cannot face their own failings, it's unfathomable, it must be someone or something else, right? Never you.
You are not as good as you think you are. That is very, very clear.
Pretentious fuck.
Not every loser like you has the free time to play this game 24/7, or type an essay that they are 'skilled' and 'rational' on the internet. I would also say not everyone has the free time to demean people who clearly just care about the game and are concerned with the, quite frankly, terrible direction it's heading in.
At the end of the day, this is supposed to be a casual game, and the new combo decks are ruining the fun of many players who just want to spend a few minutes winding down in HS after a stressful day. They don't need people like you to tell them that their opinions are invalid just because they're 'low rank', or supposedly 'less skilled'. Or that their personal experience was soured by terrible card design, but their emotions are unjustified because hey look, the statistics show that the deck they're complaining about isn't broken! So deal with it!
But maybe YOU need someone to call you out on your pretentious bullshit.
Hmm okay my gripes are only from experience. It feels like aggro is popular only because the priest and warlock questlines are so unfun and annoying to play against as other decks. If those get nerfed, it would allow control decks and such to make a comeback, which in turn keep the aggro decks in check.
The mage and warlock questlines stifle deck diversity; control decks can't really stop them and midranged decks/other questlines aren't fast or equipped enough to compete. So you're stuck playing aggro or these questlines.
Hope they're slowed down a bit, either through cost nerfs (incanter's flow, quest rewards, healing cards) or fundamental card changes (auctioneer, stealer of souls, dark glare, quest completion requirements)
Christ, mage and warlock are better at mana cheating than druid these days. So much for class identity
Hoping for some cost nerfs on healing cards and incanter's flow, at least. Let them finish their quest, but give the rest of us a fighting chance to kill them before they do. I can be watching Netflix and when I look back, they're still playing 12 cards at fking 6 mana.
Freeze Mage and its players can all die in a fucking fire. It's the most irritating and depressing deck to play against. They bar you from playing the game for ten turns. After that, they point spells at your face and claim that they're a good player, and that their cancerous deck is difficult to play. All of you fuckers just die along with your fucking cancer, and the game would be in a much better place.
Maybe... Mage? I tend to keep to myself with my own thoughts and avoid conflict where possible. I can also be rather cold towards imbeciles or people I just don't like (trying to work on that haha), but will warm up to people I click with.
Perhaps it's simply because you're playing at the lower ranks. Based on your ability to identify their plays as mistakes, your skill level and understanding of the game seem to be above those that you share the rank with. If you put in a little more time, you'd probably be able to go much higher and have more enjoyable games against people of similar skill level.
I feel like the number of people "b'ming" is exaggerated. Personally, I don't run into a lot of emote spammers or ropers, and this is from Rank 25 all the way to Legend. Maybe I'm getting lucky, or you people are overreacting to stuff like the greetings at the start of a game, or the "well played" at the end of it. Even if your opponent sends out a greeting when they get lucky, or an "oops" for something unlucky/embarrassing, it's just friendly banter that is seen as an insult. Honestly, you people need to chill and treat Hearthstone like what it is: a game.
Eh... did your opponent have any minions on the board? If not, it should be 1 - P(Thaurissan is hit 4 times in a row) - 4P(Thaurissan is hit 3 times and only a single Axe Flinger is hit once, then the Thaurissan is hit again). Which is 1 - (1/3)^4 - 4(2/3)(1/3)^4 = 232/243. 95.5% chance for lethal, basically.

It's a toss up between Entomb and Sylvanas.

I like Ragnaros against Reno. For Zoo, it's down to who has the better opening, and whether you can make your Consecration count.

Brutal efficiency: Secret Paladin/Combo Druid
Fun: Tempo Mage/Oil Rogue
Interesting: Renolock/CW/CP
Fast Games: Aggro Shaman/Zoo
