I've been having some success against Demon Hunter with my Evolve Shaman. It's only at Platinum 6/Platinum 5 rank and I haven't played too many games, but Shaman seems playable.
I believe a Highlander build would be the closest thing to a unicorn we could get. Perhaps not exactly like Funki's build, but something along the lines. It has the highest chances of scamming people with power plays, which is what the top meta decks do.
If I recall correctly, Shaman was alright during the Rise of Shadows meta. Even during Saviors of Uldum, pre-Doom in the Tomb, Quest Shaman was very strong but not super broken.
Do we know if the battlecry applies only to minions on board and NOT also to ones in hand or in your deck? I known the later ‘seems’ crazy but what if....
Twisting Nether also says "all minions" and only affects the field. I believe if it affected the deck and hand too, the card would also say "wherever they are" (similar to Flick).
Year of the Raven had the best ones. Had no special rewards except cardbacks, but hey, it was tons of fun and it was free. In a free to play game. That's something.
Monster Hunt was fun.
Puzzle Lab was something different and interesting, unfortunately it had no replayability.
However, Rumble Run was the most atrocious single player I've ever played.

I highly doubt Jaraxxus would see play with Demon Hunters running around.

Shudderwock, Zentimo, Zilliax, Earthen Might, Mojomaster Zihi are some of the cards I'll miss the most.

Rogue, Hunter and Demon Hunter look like the top classes.
Shaman looks competitively unplayable.
The other classes are in between.

"Total corruption, total MRGLMRGL!"

Also it can be generated by the Faceless Lackey. Being a Demon, the Warlock Galakrond can also summon it which is a slight nerf.

My predictions.
Year of the Dragon:
- Sludge Slurper or Invocation of Frost
Year of the Raven;
- Raiding Party
- Dr. Boom, Mad Genius
- Extra Arms
- Giggling Inventor (?)
From the current wild cards it's a bit hard to guess. I'd say some candidates could be Spiteful Summoner, Lesser Emerald Spellstone and Bonemare

Now it makes sense why Brian Kibler loves Reno so much.
It all comes together.

If it was fair it wouldn't be played in a top meta deck.

The worst Brawl I've ever played. Pogo Hopper simulator and whoever draws the first non-Pogo Hopper card loses.

Tinkmaster Overspark, if you have it in your collection, is a decent choice. Both outcomes are beasts which also messes up Druid's Witching Hour.
