Molster posted a message on The Plague Quarter Heroic Boss Deck GuidesPosted in: NewsI disagree, there is nothing wrong with people enjoying a game enough to want to hit world first. So I have to disagree with you. Naxx is seen as a puzzle. If people want to race to get the first deck that can beat cheezy heroic Boss Y, more power to them for enjoying the game enough to
I also think releasing it this manor is a little on the not so grand side. Hope for a global release again. -

I don't believe that anybody cares about who gets "World First" for Naxx content, honestly. I do agree that it would be nice for them to stabilize the launch process to the point they are ABLE to roll out a global launch... I am pretty certain the devs are just as frustrated as we are, that global roll-outs are held back by technical issues.
1
It's really not. That is about as reasonable a price as we could have hoped for. 100 gold per day (30 wins) + 40 gold (dailies) * 7 = 780 gold. If you save up a little gold now, it will be much easier.
1
I am pretty sure it will be a SICK card back. Although gold cards would be really nice, there is nothing to say that you will not be able to unlock gold cards through heroics. Perhaps this is something they are waiting to launch at a later date, in order to keep the adventures fresh?
2
Launch is imminent! Can't wait. I have been sitting around 3k-3.5k. I can't believe some of you guys have been saving over 7k gold.

Hi Guys,
It seems like in forever since I have been active around these community forums, hoping to return to my #1 post count spot by spamming you guys like crazy. (kidding of course)
Anyways, enough of the prelude, is there a directory of public VoIP servers for the Hearthstone community?
If not, we should totally start one.
Here's how it will work, post below if you have a VoIP server (Ventrilo, Teamspeak, Mumble) that has a decent amount of active Hearthstone players at all times. I will do my best to keep this thread updated.
Post in the following format:
Server Name:
Server Type: (Teamspeak, Mumble, etc)
Server Address:
Associated URL: (optional)
Information:
Thanks very much guys,
Feels good to be back :D

The fact of the matter is there are core design philosophies for Hearthstone, that have existed since day one.
One of these core design philosophies is "to avoid any mechanic that it not fun to lose against".
Mill decks are "fun", but TERRIBLE by design. They have only flourished in games like MTG, because you can build large decks to somewhat counter. In Hearthstone, with only 30 cards in a deck, this would be absolutely ridiculous as an archetype.

Yeah, it is something that kinda bothered me. Not so much the hard to read part, which is still a valid point, but that when your health is red it gives a sense of urgency.
When playing the game it definitely felt odd to have red health numbers, when my hero had only taken 1-2 damage.

hmm Leeroy Jenkins...
...Yep, it works! :D
