Im assuming that's because you are nowhere near top tier

Baldassar posted a message on SuspiciousPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from jjgamesworth >>Blizzard for sure matches you with certain decks or starting hands that they know will cause a loss. It prevents ppl from going on 20 game winstreaks, limits the amount of ppl in legend and keeps you playing the game. Like how you get to rank 3 diamond, you're ranking up and next thing you know you're on a losing streak and now rank 4 or 5. Now you feel compelled to keep playing to get your og rank back to retain some sense of progression. In legend I havent gone on 1 losing streak, I never lose more than 2 games in a row. You would think if you're in legend and you're facing hypothetically the best and most intelligent players in the game, you would lose more games in legend than in ranks 5 to 1, right? No because they no longer have an incentive to "de-rank" you anymore to keep you playing and motivated. Only ~25k pll make it to legend and there are plenty of decks that have high enough winrates to get there so why have the same amount of ppl reach legend over the years? Obviously persistence is key and some ppl just aren't persistent enough and the matching is not in their favor.
What a load of bull...
Diamond 4-1 is the most competitive after high legend, while legend lower than 500 or so is the least competitive environment.
No intentional deranking is necessary. When your MMR matches you against equal opponents, it's natural that your winrate is close to 50% and since in the final climb to legend most people don't have extra stars, it's easy to get stuck there.

sPacEtiMe19 posted a message on Remaining Cards Revealed!Posted in: NewsI can list off the things every class can do to stop/kill this, but if you play the game regularly, you should be aware of them.
Its also an IMMEASURABLY horrible top deck, and is really only ever decent at best on turn 4 exactly (that you’re also just passing playing this).
I guarantee you, in any sort of even somewhat competitive play, this hits face in less than 5% of the games it’s played.
It’s an absurdly bad legendary, and confirms that Odyn warrior will remain their go-to. -

__l1ght posted a message on Remaining Cards Revealed!Posted in: NewsSlagmaw the Slumbering just as cool as the card looks it is as bad in terms of playability. Not only you spend 4 mana to do nothing, but also against new reno it might get poofed even before awakening..
Overall I feel like all warrior excavate-related cards should cost 2 less to be at least decent

DemonicPlushie posted a message on Multiple New Warrior Cards RevealedPosted in: NewsReinforced Plating looks pretty bad. 1 extra mana over Shield Block for +1 armour and to generate a random card which more often than not will be less useful than just drawing a card... worse Shield Block which was already underpowered. If you want cycle, shield block is better because, well.. it actually cycles, and costs less for the same effect. If you want only the Odin combo, Heavy Plate is better because it gives more armour for the same cost and can be traded so it isn't a brick until you draw him.
Blast Charge is godawful trash. +2 mana over Execute to excavate.. Unless the warrior excavation legendary reads "Win the game" none of these will see any play.

MyDude33 posted a message on No it's not bias, key cards are sniped immediately after taunt dies.Posted in: BattlegroundsI also wondered if there is some sort of script that penalyze players without tavern pass.
Then how do I explain my recent run of just absolutely getting run over lately? I have bought the Battlegrounds Pass every time since it started.
The amount of times lately I just run into an opponents who have boards that are just miles better than mine on turn 8-9 is ridiculous. I'm getting way more top 8's than top 4's as of late. It could also be that I rose in rating and am facing better players and have not adapted. That would probably be considered nonsense around here though.

That's intended, you need the Portal.
When you copy him on board, or cheat him out of your hand/deck somehow, or revive him, you'll just get the body.
This is intended, so he cant be cheated, the portal is bound to the battlecry

If you play the demon she draws you are definitly fully retarded, that's like deleting the whole purpose of nemsy.
You got it right, when she gets stolen, exactiy that happens

D3 to d1 is way more competetive then legend XXXXX-5k.
At 5k+ some ppl actually try to climb and at 2k+ it gets serious.
I also got no real numbers and eu is different then us. Here we have around 20k-50k hitting legend each month probably its closer to 50k cuz it gets easier with each year lol.
I doubt that there are more then 1kk ppl that you could consider as serious Standard Player.
The playberbase is definitly higher but the question is how many are actually playing the game and not just fooling around.

I think it is somehow compareable to quest priest, it will be playable as t4 or t3 at the very best.
If they give ous something similar to Shadowborn it could be pretty decent. Playing this for 5 mana is a whole different Story.
2
When do ppl finally stop with that 50% bullshit. They dont need any hidden mechanic to reach that ffs.
This game is 1on1!!! It will always end up with an 50% winrate in avg.
Jesus freakin Christ just use your brain once pls...
P.s. this is not directed to any Individual but everyone who claims its rigged to keep ppl around 50%.
All you need is equally skilled opponents and those you get as long as you posses a star bonus - to lose roughly 50% of all games
1
No offence but I hate such claims.
There is no Deck with a 80% winrate, never was and never will be.
How does your Deck handle the 3 mana barrels in your hand? Putrid is really good now but the mana increase on the barrels is somehow a massive nerf. 3 mana 4 dmg "random" target is rly horrible.
4
How is two bodies (one even with taunt) and a weapon a slow play?
Btw the weapon alone is 18 dmg, so this will be the Target, 1 attack is coming
1
Warrior looks super terrible. The taunt archetype never worked in the history of hearthstone and excavate seems crazy slow and heavy overpriced in warrior. Paying 3 mana for execute is nuts. The reward of excavate is also relative meh, should it work somehow then soley cuz of that guranteed brawl.
Just the 2 mana removal is insane. So for me warrior basicly got one card that is definitly viable.
2
I agree Slagmaw is a waste 4 mana card in at least 80% of all matches.
I dunno if I agree on the Ox, warriors excavate and the neutral cards seem very bad in total. You hardly could play a Deck full of shit just for that. I mean it's probably better to run a Deck with 4-6 solid cards, over this bounch of crap. At least its discover so maybe there is a minor Chance for it to be worthwile.
It's also very unlikely for warrior to get this out before a reno or any other full clear is playable.

I play since classic (with brakes) and priest is still not lvl 60.
Dk is also not 60 but this one is relative new and could possibly get it one day.
With dh I had troubles for a long time but I made it a few metas ago, sometimes I like Combo decks, when they are versatile enough. Also relic was okish.
This is about me as the player. About the Design in general, my votes go for rogue, priest, druid, in that order.
Rogue is either unplayable or broken, it's almost the same with druid, while priest is most of the time just crazy boring.
Though I liked some rogue decks in the past and used to Main druid in classic and c'thun times.
Ramp and "free" bounces is a totaly shity design that is either to weak or to strong.
