Despite the rank, you probably faced decks with few legendaries: it is because of Whizbang the Wonderful, a very good card for beginners meme seekers. Maybe you should craft it in order to gain confidence with the expansions you missed.
At the moment the meta is quite balanced but also very polarized: Druid is at the top with countless decks (most of the times 25 cards are the same and the last 5 define the archetype), aggro sees a lot of play (Tempo Mage, cheap ZooLock and Odd Rogue, because yes now you can make odd and even decks).
The latest expansion had ok cards but didn't change a lot the meta, resulting that only a few cards from it are really seeing play, and no new archetype achieved to stick in high tiers (despite the new word Magnetize, which is kinda interesting)
You should wait a bit before crafting something important (unless it is Whizbang, Baku the Mooneater, Genn Greymane or Zilliax, cards that will surely see play until they rotate in April 2019), because next week Blizzard will announce some nerf and we don't know how that will affect the meta.
Do you have any other points that I missed
If you have the dust, definitely craft Whizbang. It randomly picks a class and one of the newest prebuilt decks to play regardless of your collection. So you can try out all the new cards without dedicating any resources to a particular deck. With patience you can climb fairly decently with Whizbang as well.
Whizbang will also pick the newest prebuilt decks everytime a new expansion comes out too. So he will be playable through all of next year.
Since all classes have access to armor (Death Knights and neutral armor gain like Plated Beetle) I imagine it wouldn't be too far obscure. Bypassing Divine Shield too for minions would be interesting. But like Biddio said, First Strike and Trample are more interesting options for new mechanics.
I never think about my craft choices. I just ask myself "Will it be fun to me?" If your answer is yes, go for it. Raza might be my favorite legendary of all time. So much wacky combo potential with him. Four of my decks are dedicated to different Raza combos.
You definitely can't block them. And I think it's funny honestly. They are wasting their own time to ultimately lose a star. You are in the right to rope him right back. You're the one gaining a star not him. Lol
If he played cairne first then yes but you if you played windrunner first then no. It's because the deathrattle triggers on the order they are first played
This is correct. Deathrattles trigger in order of when the cards were played. So if you were to play Sylv into his board with Cairne on it, and unwilling sacrificed, you'd get the token. If your Sylv was on the board before he played his Cairne, then your Sylv would trigger before the token came into play and you'd get nothing.
I got my 2k dust. But didn't get a pop-up for it. I was as upset as you guys were, but checked my collection and it was in there. So if you didn't get a pop up, it's possible you got it, but just missed it.
I've seen and had emotes actually effect the outcome of a game as a bluff. Being ten damage from lethal and hovering your fireball over their face saying "Well Played" over and over again can fake an opponent into assuming a Pyroblast and conceding.
It's not BM if it's strategic. You can actually win games being a douche.
On the other hand, I personally welcome my opponent's BM. It allows me to revenge BM when I've taken the lead. And revenge BM is deliciously sweet.
Raza is going to be really popular at least starting off. My suggestion as the most viable and consistent way to get it off will be to Mirror Entity or Faceless Manipulator your opponent's Raza and use the Manic Spellcaster when you have it. Of course the portals, discovers and Shifter are really important against non priest matchups.

As soon as a new expansion is released in 2018. Something we don't know yet. Out with this rotation will be Old Gods, Karazhan, and Gadgetzan.
