Worth it? Not worth it? Seems like a good way to seal late-game victories and get some healing in the deck.
In Wild : Better play Mal Ganis instead.
In Standard: Jaraxxus is way to slow for zoo and doesn't fit the gameplan to float the board with mostly smaller, synergistic minions. Zoo wants to put minions on the board every turn. Jaraxxus doesn't do this in the turn you play him. On turn 9 most of the games with Zoo are allready won or lost and Jaraxxus doesn't change that fact.
Yes, Lord J is strong on its own - but most of the time, you need AoEs or strong taunt to back him up, which Zoo doesn't have. And as I said: There is no synergy between Lord J and a Zoo deck.
Because I like fast, action packed matches more than slow and boring control mirrors.
It's also said that midrange decks are normally my favorite type of decks. I only prefer aggro over midrange decks, when I am not very motivated to play a lot of HS and I want to do my quests or climb the ladder with lesser time effort.
"Oh wait they were never seen past Karazan, except N'Zoth but that's because he dosnt require your deck to be built around him like the other three do."
There are still people who are playing Yogg - even on pro tournament level, for example at China vs EU at the moment.
"Yes jade is kind of weak now"
How is Jade weak now? Jade Druid is Tier 2 at the moment according to the meta report from Tempo Storm.
Paladin doesn't have enough reach to justify offensive and has enough heal to ignore defensive use of Alex.
Yes, Alex whouldn't be usefull offensive in Paladin most of the time. I mostly thought about her as an aditional heal, because I don't think that Pala has enough heal. He has Rag - and what else? Burnbristle? Not enough heal and don't protect you against burst. Holy Light and Forbidden Healing? Cards which only healing and do nothing else arn't good for midrange decks. Lay on Hands? Most of the time way to slow, because it costs you "your hole turn" to use it. And there are no strong neutral healing cards anymore without Heal Bot.
"Keep in mind a legendary card doesn't always mean better."
Yes, I know. And I never claimed something like that. But I'm missing 1-2 more late game bombs, some big dudes for the late game, which can make pressure - like Dr Boom or Rag Firelord in Wild. And Primordial doesn't seem to fit this role - Deathwing maybe could.
@Equality + Primordial vs Deathwing: Yes, both kill the hole board and they both cost 10 Mana. But it is a difference, if you have a 12/12 or a 4/8 on the board and if you need one or two cards for the complete board clear. If I only want a 2 Damage AoE, I personally don't like it, when my own minions got damaged. If I really want a total board clear, this is all that matters.
"I don't think you understand the point of deathwing or alex, or of midrange decks in general."
So tell me whats the point of these things, instead of just posting a passive aggressiv post.
I think the point of Alex is to lower the health of the enemy most of the time for preparing a combo to kill him in the next 1-2 turns. On the other hand you can heal your hero in some cases and put a big minion on the board on the same time. In Pala it could have a similar role than Rag, if you want to have 2 heals in your deck and you don't like Lay on Hands, because this card is so brutally slow, because it doesn't effect the board at all (you "loose" a turn in some way).
Right now I don't have the time to explain whats the point of Deathwing and midrange decks in general are. I play HS since open beta with no longer pause, played a lot of midrange decks, became legend, yada, yada, yada... I know the concepts of this game - that doesn't mean, that there is no room to think about alternatives in deck building and talking about them with other people.
The most Midrange Palas I see in Standard at the moment are running 1 or 2 Primordial Drake. I see the upsides of this card, especially that it's drawn by Curator. But I don't really like this drake, because it damages your own board.
Because of this, I ask myself, why no Midrange Palas are running 1 or 2 big legendary Drakes.
Why no Alexstrasza for a potential second minion with heal (beside Rag) - or for some extra damage against the enemy hero to kill him quicker?
Why no Deathwing for a easier board clear (no combo with equality necesarry)? Often enough Midrange Pala seems to run out of cards, if the game last longer, so Deathwing whouldn't discard much.
@Grumhul: Ok, I understand your argument. But how often can you really get this curve? If the possibility for this perfect draw is reason enough to play Tidecaller, is one Tidecaller maybe enough (because the number of Murlocs is relatively low in Midrange Pala) or are two Tidecallers a must have?
If you can't curve your Turn 1 Tidecaller in a second Murloc, it is only a weak 1/2-minion.
In the newest Meta Report from Tempo Storm, the deck list for Midrange Pala includes 2x Tidecallers. The description of the deck even says "Murloc Tidecaller has found its way in as a core card in the mid-range paladin lists that contain the Murloc package".
But it seems, a lot of pro players think different about Tidecaller in Midrange Pala, because I can't remember one player, who played this Murloc in his Midrange Pala deck at the moment (at last in the tournament games I saw in the last days). Sure, Tidecaller is a must have in Aggro Murloc Pala - but is it good enough in Midrange Murloc Pala?
Wild was already swarmed by PW - at least at the higher ranks. In April I reached Legend in Wild and the overall percent of PW I faced that month was 34% - at Rank 1 it was even 52%!
Nearly the hole meta was PW vs Anti-PW-Decks - and some Secret-Palas and Rogues, which got eaten alive by PW nearly every time. *nom, nom*
@Token-Pala: Yes, Strifecro got 12 Wins with this deck, but I think, it should be heavily unfavoured against PW and therefore not be overall good in the Ladder. Most of the time this deck should be overrun by PW easily, because of no Anti-PW-cards, no early- or midgame-heals and only Stonehill Defender as early game taunt. Yes, spikeridged steed can win you the game against PW by itself - but this doesn't matter if PW kills you in round 5.
Pirate warrior is the more cancer deck ever made in HS history and deserve a nerf more agressive than Warsong.
You don't play HS for a long time, do yo? It seems you didn't play the game when the old Vanilla Miracle Rogue or pre-nerfed Undertaker-Hunter was around... THIS was cancer. Pirat Warrior is fine - the people are just to dumb to tech against it.

It seems you need some tech against Warrior... How about a Oooze or a Crab? ;)

I want MORE keywords! Something like "Lifelink" for example, which Burnbristle have.

Then play 2 Crawler! Where is your problem?
If you facing a lot of deck X and you don't play cards against this deck, it's your own fault. o_O
