You can still play Odd-Rogue in Wild no problem. No cards were nerfed for this deck and it is not T1 there, but still very viable. (I climbed from rank 7 to 1 with Odd-Rogue with a 66% winrate.)
People hate control because the decks take skill and intelligence to pilot.
Lol more like a tiny amount of classes are given the busted value cards/removal so during slow matches equally skilled players will always win when playing the class that has the most greedy vomited into said classes' laps.
There's absolutely nothing skillful about playing a class that beat other slow classes that have less removal, less value, and/or less anti-fatigue than you by a landslide.
Psshhh! Be quiet! Don`t destroy his illusion that he is an intelligent player, because he is playing Control Warrior...
Only commons are not enough cards I think. A HS-"Pauper" should also allow rares - so no only no epics and legendaries. So it whould be a "budget decks" mode. I like this idea but I don`t think it whould be popular enough because all you whould see there is Hunter and Zoolock, because theese are the classes which has normally the easiest chance to get good budget deck. Other decks like Control Warrior couldn`t work there.
I whould love to the a official mode in HS like this - but I don`t belive we will ever see it. I think Blizz will not see not enough upside for themselve to make such a format as Dendroid allready mentioned it.
Until now I played 6 small pirates in my Odd-Rogue beside Patches: 2x Southsea Deckhand, 2x Buccaneer and 2x Swashburglar.
Sometimes the free card from Bloodsail Corsair is nice. But to me it feels like most of the time the random card is pretty bad or even unusable.
So I am thinking about cutting the Swashburglar for a better stated minion with a more consistend effect.
What do you think of Small-Time Buccaneer or Bloodsail Corsair instead?
STM only have 1 HP too, but allows you a much more aggressive start especially against control decks.
And Bloodsail Corsair on the other side helps a bit against enemy weapons (like Kingsbane) and the 1 extra HP can help at least a bit against token heavy decks like Odd Pala.
Netdecking is no problem. The problem are only the users who are crying about netdecking, because the netdecks are most of the time way stronger than their homebrewn clown decks. These crybabys just want a "savespace" where no netdeck can bully them.
You say Justsaiyan and Bunnyhoppor should "learn to play against it"? Lul, do you even know who theese guys are? They have more skill in one finger than you in your whole brain! :D
Justsaiyan and Bunnyhoppor wanting nerfs for Dr Boom? Who are theese noobs? Leave Control Warrior allone, he is fine! Only aggro is always op. Omg, learn to play and get good! (KAPPA)
So Elysiana is mostly a tech against Bomb Warrior?
So how about: 7/7 for 8 Mana, battlecry: Transform all bombs in your decks into fluffy cakes, which say "When drawn heal your hero by five and draw a card". :D
Loatheb imo. Except for even decks he is nearly playable in all decks, he is viable in aggro, midrange and even in control. Solid stats for 5 mana and a unique very strong ability.
I don`t think he is the strongest Wild legy, but one of the savest crafts in my opinion.

Having friends is cheating... Blizz ban friends asap or I quit playing!
Really?...

For me personally Edwin felt always broken since the beginning of HS. But in the past, he was less of a problem when BGH was 3 Mana...

1. I allready play 2x Fire Fly.
2. Fire Fly is no pirate - and I think you want at least 5-6 pirates to pull out Patches save enough.
