I expect hyper aggro to not work, but I expect Mono Removal/Fatigue will just get worse.

We are getting a lot more strong late game cards, and can expect nerfs to the easy splashable answers to those(BGH, Owl), so decks will probably actually have something to shoot for in the late game.

    Hehe, that's a good pun.

A good pun is a p.good use of a designated trash slot.

9 is a bit much, and why is this legendary?
Like 1-2 less mana and non legendary would make this a great late game wall.

And this is why formats and rotations suck

We're gonna end up having 50 variations of Muster For Battle in the future and it's going to be the same with other cards that are getting rotated out now. This is how Hearthstone dies.

Well see the other option is we get 50 variations of Muster for Battle that are all just better than the previous version.
Or they make cards that can't be used in all previous decks(and are better than all previous decks).

Living games must deal with the fact they alive changing, hearthstone dies if it doesn't have people buying new cards.

I think the most founded complains (including mine) are not because of how playable the card is, but about how uninspired this card is (which also applies to most of the other cards they showed)
You are going to show ONE card.Is this really the best you have to show to create hype for the expansion or motivate people to get the preorder?

No It isn't really a valid complaint and the people making it I really have to wonder If they've ever played TCGs before.
There's a very small number of effects anyone gives two shits about in the game, namely board presence and card economy, anything that doesn't relate directly back to those is ultimately irrelevant.
Magic the gathering in the bad old days would just keep reprinting the same most efficient versions of removal and economy, so decks for literally decades would have 24 lands, the same 24 core cards, and like 12 cards that actually rotated. Then they realized that's terrible and costed the "Baseline" versions of these things to where they can slap on extra effects so your core effects would be slightly different each standard, maybe "Destroy target creature" gets no boost or maybe this time they lose 2 life or it can hit more than the usual targets, or less than the usual but is cheaper.
And sure there are card games that put all those basic effects in the first expansion and then print inspired effects, their corpses liter card game history. Card games have to have active communities to stay viable, active communities have to be buying packs and going to tournaments. If no one wants to buy your new set because the cards are all interesting rather than fundamental well no one buys your game.
Filling the board with SHR is a basic thing Paladins will do, every standard will have at least one card to do it with some tweek or another. This is just a more vanilla take on it probably because they didn't want to come near muster after it's dominance.
It is however a shitty preview but It appears less an intentional one and more a pseudo-leak.
