If you played wild enough you will accept the fact, that this just made Druid even more powerful than it was before!

Horkinger posted a message on Can you think of a viable druid deck without Innervate?Posted in: DruidInnervate is just a very valuable card even aggro decks often run it (although they sometimes do not, so there are druid decks without innervate).
But it has also a weakness. Innervate is a Card itself, letting the Druid trade ramp (which mostly transitions into tempo) for card advantage (like rogue does). You lose a Card to get 2 mana crystals ahead in a single turn. That can feel bad for the Opponent, when vicious fledgling is summoned on turn 1, that can also feel bad for the Druid when he doesn't have Cards in Hand any more. Or even worse, topdecks it when you are hoping for Ultimate Infestation or Living Mana. I don't think that Blizzard will move it to the hall of fame. In particular since there are no proper replacements (like there are for Ancient of Lore or Keeper of the Grove ). But of course, I could be wrong.

JJroks543 posted a message on The Hearthstone Wild Open Returns For 2019 - January & FebruaryPosted in: NewsSay your piece about Wild being unbalanced or whatever, but I'm glad this is even happening at all. After the situation with HoTS, I was all but certain Hearthstone was, at the very least, going to cancel Wild events for 2019 and beyond. The fact that the Wild Open is still happening and is being actively promoted is honestly a cause for celebration.

ShotgunSoul posted a message on Checking Out The Incredibly Wild Side of Rastakhan's RumblePosted in: NewsThanks for putting up a wild article. I might be setting up some decks for it later this week, so always good to get ideas and see (maybe) what to expect.
Played a wild casual game to get rid of rogue quest and pirate quest (rarely use either); had more fun with that than in standard games lately.
Two weeks into Rastakhan, it's aggro and smorc in standard, with very few of the new stuff in play (if it weren't for hunter and the occasional taunt druid, probably none). And I'm not the only one noticing it ... this just came in today on YouTube:

WhatAChamp posted a message on Minion to silence weapons.Posted in: General DiscussionI say "BS" every time someone says that there shouldn't be a tech card for a specific situation. It doesn't matter how rare it is, the option should be there for people who want it. The game would be substantially better if you could make choices to counter mechanics based on what you see in the meta instead of just having auto-include cards. So even though I've never seen a need for a weapon silence card, I support the idea of having one.

GetchX posted a message on Hearthstone Balance Changes Incoming - Information Coming Next WeekPosted in: NewsMy bet is on Avianna. There is no other card that limits design space as much as that card. Yeah, it's wild only, but the fact that so many "joke" cards (togwaddle, star aligner) have become top tier decks due to it has to scare Blizzard. The fact that the mana cost of a minion doesn't matter in a druid deck means that any powerful card has to be measured against how strong it will be at 1 mana. Star aligner, a meme card becoming tier 1, has got to be the last straw.

Just because you have no idea how to use it does not mean that the card is bad.
Silas Darkmoon's effect makes it so your opponent has to be careful about WHERE your opponent places his minions, and rewards you in such a manner. Think of it as a Mind Control Tech with a lot more control about WHAT you steal. It's a lot like The Lurker Below, where your opponent has to position their field in such a way so you cannot get the maximum benefit off of it.
Think of it this way: You can use this in Wild to steal something juicy from a N'zoth or a Gul'dan your opponent plays, or steal a high value minion they have in a control matchup, or a crippling punish if they go all in with Deathwing. You get something valuable and they get stuck with a (comparatively) worse shitty minion. You are underestimating how powerful this minion actually is.
It's a card with a first-of-it's-kind effect (a minion that swaps control of itself and an opponent's minion). You cannot claim a minion is trash if you haven't played with it yet.

Um, you notice we are in the middle of a fucking pandemic here? I think there'd be more effort to get the solo modes made if, say, they could get the voice actors together without having to worry about spreading a dangerous coronavirus around?

Just end your turn already so you can blow your opponent's shit up.

Best Legendary for Paladin since Tarim. Now all the crybabies whining about Paladin not getting anything decent are required to shut the fuck up about it.
A very strong removal option in Odd Warrior in Wild, as well.

Explosive Trap, Arcane Shot, Corrosive Breath, Rapid Fire, Snipe and Kill Command all say hi. Multi-Shot becomes a Turn Seven "Automatically kill two of your opponent's minions" with Professor Slate on the board. Hunter does have a little support for Poisonous, and Explosive Trap or Snipe could be put in play before he is summoned. Also, Dragon Hunter does classify as more of a midrange/control deck, so I would not be surprised if it finds some use there.

Ranks up there with Deathstalker Rexxar as the strongest Legendary Hunter has ever had. Without question the best Legendary minion that Hunter has ever had.

Holy shit. A Hunter Legendary that's actually very fucking good? I just might die of shock!

Rank 51 player spotted.

Of course I do realize that those minions will survive the 2/2 tokens. Then one of your beatsticks will finish it off. Or make it easier to take it out with a Truesilver Champion.
The card's purpose is to WEAKEN a minion, not destroy it.

This card will definitely see play. The card has an immediate effect on the game, it's a card that your opponent will immediately HAVE to answer to, and there's a ton of support for Paladin to use this card extensively. Making Mummies is still in Standard right now, and the prospect of having 2/2 tokens of this card to snipe even the biggest minions your opponent has make this particular card a pain in the ass. People that are insisting that this card is bad are overlooking the fact that it doesn't care if you damage a minion, it only cares if you attack it. Which means that Divine Shield isn't protecting your Colossus of the Moon from becoming bite size.
