I usually do fun decks an theme one´s. I made one i called "Crazy Witch" and it can realy stand it´s ground. It´s totally fun. Sometimes you are busy not to get too much cards. :-). Unfortunately it dust heavy to craft.
Ah spell hunter we know this. OK stitched tracker what might it be? doesn´t matter beat it down .. Ouch dam traps, ok Applebaum we get trough it with our big guy. Doh those elephant rifle got him ... well then lets bring weapons. Gnaa Harrion, fine lets drop that peskey legend. O_o he has one too... Ha shot you close to dead. WTF? Those heals i did already over 50 damage ...
OK i conceed to your Mr. Hyde ...
There are some important parts here. Your witchwood pipers bring out the trackers! not spreading creatures and doubling them lets you target what you need better! I also won a bunch by shooting my own doctor.
Remove corosive sludge and one venom trap. Add two stiched trackers Woot here we go :-). (Maybe use misdirection or freezing trap instead the one venom trap.
After making a good warrior deck and a buffadin i am back to shaman. It´s the class is started and focused first. I moved to paladin with mean streets as there i could build a very fun and unique battlecry deck and make my 500+ wins. With witchwood i did jump on shudderwock as it was battlecry but it was somewhat average. Then seeing that i have most paladin cards i also constructed a buff paladin which can hold it´s ground very well. Then i looked at the meta and constructed a (at least for me) feel good warrior deck destroying paladins and having a positive winrate overall.
Then again going back to my shaman. Throwing off all the meta and murloc and whatever and make a crazy fun witch deck an then optimize. It´s how new metas are created ;-). I know there are some trys with corpestaker but they all had their mind focused on shudder while i used a diffrent aproach forfiting stable extra card daw filling the hand in another way and dumping shutter in the first run.
It happened that it became a shudderwok deck. It was just three cards to fit but with the brutal late game shudder in reserve.
Here comes the crazy witch. Who needs extra card draw ? This deck has troubles not overfilling it´s hand ^^.
Intresting Variants: I love the runespear. It´s usually not a good card being too expensive, but this is the only deck i found where it actually works and even won me a few. Just that 8 mana ....
Crazy stuff and fun to play. (Beware of those Hydronox decks ... they are the witches nemesis and a Tinkmaster barely helps....)
When you look into my deck list you see that the witchwood pipers will make the whole deck more consistent. They usually pull out a stitched tracker. It enables me to play a tracker and trap in T5 and have pulled out what i need for T6 like big hunter if spiteful or T6 ozzeling or just a chain gang if preassured. There are no other cheap creatures ;-). They make the deck more consistent! It´s also the reason why harrison whould be very good. You will have him(or a copy) at least T6 if needed. After adding the two chain gangs the deck started to hold its ground against aggro and the big charger just brutally break trough oposing walls. Spellstones make up for another strong move. I used two for a while. Also take care when to drop some traps. Especially explosive and misdirection. I usually keep them for the right moment and don´t throw them when i have the mana. And the grieveous bites are important to keep it stable and get rid of token or wounded creatures..
And i got noticeable conceeds after a well placed misdirection XD.
but i did not play it enough. I am shure it´s still not optimized.
I desigend my own tount warrior (combining it with rush and froothing berserkers) and will see how it works in the long run and what i need to adapt. But i also think the odd version is worse. I usually need till T10 to get into ragnar mode and often draw the hole deck but i can kill as fast as T5 on a perfect draw i he does not immidiately remove the berserker. Lich king is good but expensive as well as the primordial drakes all i run is maximum 5 mana.
I have a hard time fighting aggro mage, crystal core rouge and not so bad but still hard cubelock. Still serching for the joker card that does help me with this three matchups. Harrison Jones and Azalina failed here. The last tweak that actually feels good was adding one facelss manipulator... In theory Harrison is the right card to go but he barely changes annything when playing...
And yes it destroys paladins, but i fight spiteful and cubelocks left and right ...
The deck perfeorms well. I look forward to optimize it and maybe someone has an idea for a joker card.
I tried Azalina but mostly she was useless :-/. I have troubles fighting aggro/tempo mages and cubelocks are always tough but that is expected being tier1 decks ... On the other side it performs well against all paladins, taunt druid and most aggro decks. It is about 50% against spiteful decks. Control priest and core rouge are also tough calls and i guess i am slighly negative agaisnt them.
So it has kind of this breakdown.
++ (near shure win)
+ (clearly positive)
Neutral: open match about 50%
- (slighly negative )
-- (mostly losses)
Paladins and general aggro decks (odd rouge, hunters, ...) ++
i realy like this colourful deck. I run a normal version. I struggle more against aggro mage rest is cool (cube/rin lock is always hazardous but 50:50). I like Harrison and Azalina but i usually regret having them in the deck ... put it in and 10 matches no use. Just lost one where the standard card would have won ... Harrison ends up being a 5/4 and not more and Azalina is usually in the hand till game over unless i get rin oponent and even then i often won´t need it ... sigh ... A bit the same with one of my most loved cards Elise ...
But i will try the big game hunter insted of execute, because this is mostly used to kill giants ...
And i have similar experiences as Aluneth and Rexar are both very bad cards for me in the long run.

Hi
You want to be diffrent ? Very funny and flexible. No one expects that ....
Lets start a match Dr. Jekyll.

Feels a bit expensively loaded and i won´t go out without two lighning storms. Otherwise this looks quite nice :-).

Yea he is the card i sometimes think to exchange but on the other side he is quite dangerous and basically demands immidiate removal ...

Hi
Thats my current version. No equality might be a bit of a probelm against spiteful decks but it can preassure them and copy that 12/12 ...

I made a fun deck that is more or less also control but its a big DINO hunter. I need to make it a bit more consisent but its fun to play.
No bows, due to lack of healing. You try to avoid self damaging.
Harrison Jones, second emerald spellstone or explosive shot or if you need token defence unleash the hounds would fit in but i find no room.
as option for king krush a second siver vanguard + lich king is possible but it´s a dino deck ^^.

Doesn´t matter and happes to me too :-). It´s a bit stroy deck that can get someone off track that it´s actually a useful deck too :-).

it includes the quest card ^^. The base is taunt warrior. It is a mix of control and tempo warrior. :-)

After a witchwood piper left the army good old Harrison Jones joined that artefact hunt and together they are laying waste to all oposition.
