This quest seems a little underwhelming sure, but I believe it may have a niche use in Deathrattle DH. Both the in between effects and the final reward allow you to cheat out larger deathrattle minions with your Razorboar and Razorfen Beastmaster
I think this will be better than the comments suggest but doesn't fit into current archetypes. I think it will be useful for a deck that provides sustained pressure over a long period of time using cards like this and Kresh (weapon). Note you can trigger it multiple times with cards like Minefield and effectively generate 20/10 worth of token stats.
I don't think any of these cards are dead. People should be able to find a new way to play Gibberling ... i.e. more of a mid-game board flood using cards like Pride's Fury at the end of the turn. It's true that Druid won't be able to automatically win certain matchups if they highroll which is a good thing.
This is what I was wondering. Either the rod procs once after you draw the first cards and once again after you draw the second four. Meaning only the second four get double discount. Or the entire Plot Twist happens and then the rod procs twice giving every card the discount...we will have to wait and see.
I've also been tinkering with a Meeting Stone rally deck. Have you considered Darkmoon Statue as a 3-drop? I guess it depends how often you have a full board but it works well in my list.
Any keyword that has a potentially infinite effect (there is no cap on how much damage immune can prevent) can break the game. I really like MezariOz's proposed solution - keeps the flavour of the card, you can still do some shenanigans with Mal'ganis to build a big board but there is more potential for counterplay.
Hearthstone should be a 2-player interactive game!!!
Obviously need to replace the Crabrider and First Day of School but I haven't been playing this deck in a while. I think I tried using Redgill Razorjaw instead of crabrider to some success as it's a nice pull from Call to Arms. The Hand of A'dal nerf also hurts us but I think is still worth a place in the deck.

I took it to mean it adds one each time, so 2 damage, then 3 damage, then 4 damage, etc.

I think the idea will be to use cards with Tradeable mechanic to complete the stages in the quest.

I still run that card in Wild with Tamsin Roame + Faceless Manipulator to put 4+ copies in their hand xD

Maybe Warriors will be the Engineer class? We already have Paladins as Jewelcrafters and Warlocks as Enchanters.

Venomous Scorpid would wipe their board or just until the Scorpid dies?

I wonder if the shuffled cards will work with spell damage?

Tamsin Roame+Faceless Manipulator+Curse of Rafaam +0-cost Curse of Rafaams! I use Jepetto to make the pieces cost 1 xD

So the expansions this year seem to be following the theme of ______ed in (place name). Will the 3rd be something like "Assaulted in Alterac"?
