Am l the only one that thinks small nerfs like this should happen more often? I think it's healthy for the game that not every nerf has to be as crippling as e.g. Warsong Commander, and the players that want to play it can still do that to some extend, but find it a bit harder than usual. Everyone happy right? At least in my book. I'm not playing any of these myself except for the Warlock cards, and I'm happy that the nerfs weren't 100% brutal. But maybe l just at the nerfs in a "healthy gameplay" perspective instead of an "l don't play X deck and it's OP, pls nerf it to the ground because l hate it" kind of perspective. I don't know.

I totally agree, more like how WoW does their changes, often, and shakes it up drastically if needed. I get they are waiting to see if the community comes up with a counter for it but it shows two things:
    1. They didnt realize that card in the combination it is in would be that powerful.
    2. They dont know what kind of deck can counter it and be viable.
Every time I mention this topic of their speed of response or lack there of, I get downvoted into oblivion, so here goes the ride down.

I will wait until the nerfs arrive to play again. At the moment the meta is too boring. Paladin, Paladin, Spiteful, Paladin, Warlock, Warlock, yawn... The blizzard team should learn to nerfs cards by releasing new cards through fun adventures, treasure hunts, etc rather than by increasing meta costs of broken cards... They seem to lack creativity at the moment.

After my last 8 games being Shudderwock Shamans, even and odd Paladins, Cavern Rogues, and Spitefuls. I committed fully to the monster hunt until nerfs came. Shudderwock is still Yog 2.0 and Blizz doesnt seem to care.

Team 5 could take a lesson on how quickly the WoW dev team makes tweaks, and isnt afraid to make big moves to balance. It baffles me how slow Hearth moves.

Any reason why Chameleos didn't find any room in this deck? Could one Squashling or Scaleworm make room for him/her?

He's more of an informant on the deck you are playing against. If you think you know the meta at your rank, cut him.

Why the Skulking Geist ? A silence would be a lot more useful surely

Sometimes its better to get your revenge in first. Skulking Geist doesnt even give them a chance to play the cards.

posted a message on What Happened in Hearthstone? Taking a Look Back at April 15 - 22

Blizzard knows quality, and will find a way to replace is job functionality. What will be tough to replace is Ben's showmanship. They guy had a great goofy and endearing, but professionally interesting presence. That's tough, if not impossible to teach, and hard to find in the gaming world. Just go look at all the cringy videos of announcers at E3 and every other video game event.

I'm just curious if there was a reason in your mind. I mean some of the reveals were terrible, do you think they see you as competition?

    Quote from Magiicguy >>

I've been Legend in the past, and don't personally mind 100% RNG fuckfiesta when it's in Brawl. To each their own, and assuming one's level based on their preferences won't get us anywhere, because you can't do that.

I understand it might not be fun for a lot of people, and frankly, this is an uninspired brawl that has nothing to do with the upcoming expansion. I don't know why they stopped doing like they did in TGT, namely, enabling players to play select decks with brand new cards before the expansion was even out. It built hype and was truly new. However, how do you know the majority of players do not like this type of Brawl? Hearthpwn or Reddit are a minority, by a huge margin. The most vocal, sure. But certainly not the most important for Hearthstone devs, who can manage to see the bigger picture through all their analytics and stuff.

this x100. I have no clue why they dont replicate the TGT launch in a brawl. It was a blast, it was interesting, and it built anticipation.

Say what you want about new expacs, buffs, nerfs, in development ideas, and games Blizzard makes... they always deliver big on April Fools. Always a fun experience to see what they do across their games on 4/1.

it's a 6 mana card... To be clear I'm not saying it is weak, I am just saying it cannot be played till turn 5(on the coin) unless they steak mana card from Duid and even then turn 3 at fastest.

Think you missed just about everything Harley was going for in the post.

Outstanding list. There is definitely opportunity with this card.
