no end of discussion is when I say so. Why would I cry when i m better at the game than 99.9% of people without using random shit like that. I think you are the one that should be crying about your non existent skillset. LMAO

I love how upset you're getting that people are voicing their arguments better than you, so you're trying to bring skill into this like it even matters. People like you are the absolute funniest to watch.

I really like Gormok and the few times I've used him  in this deck he's worked out well. What can I replace with him, if anything?

People who play serious decks in casual are too bad/ afraid to play in constructed. My brother does it as well, I don't get it though :/

Casual Mode should just be removed.

Well if casual mode were removed then that wouldn't solve the problem, it just wouldn't give anyone a place to test fun decks.

Stop it with this whole "casual is for fun deck" crap already. What the frack is a a fun deck? To me, facehunter is fun. Okay? Good. End thread pls.

The better word would be new, then. New decks. Different decks. I'm glad you find face hunter fun, but I don't. It's not fun to play with or against. But that's not the argument so much as "why do people go into a mode with no rewards and tryhard it?" If you find face hunter fun then great, go into Ranked and get legend or whatever. Casual should be, well, casual, instead of people trying their damnedest to play the most competitive decks instead of, say, trying out a deck with Lorewalker Cho. Is it good? No. Will it win games? Maybe, but not when the opponent is trying really hard to capitalize on the fact that the opposite person is playing an overall inefficient deck. Maybe if the decks I was seeing actually required skill, I would understand half of the arguments here. But I'm not convinced at all, and I've pretty much reached the conclusion that people do it because they're afraid of losing ranks and would rather just do quests in casual and prey on people having fun.

Oh, sorry, I shouldn't use the word fun, should I? That'd be wrong.

To learn how to play the deck?

To a certain extent, I get this. But in a mode where people are far more likely to just play stupid shit, you won't truly test the deck because the competition is likely to be worse there, but also it's likely to be totally insane. It's just so varied that it's hard to reasonably test, in my opinion. When I do netdeck, I go straight into ranked and just learn, because my rank isn't as valuable to me as my experience. I go into ranked to play against decks I see a lot, I go into casual to play against decks I probably won't see everywhere and in turn play new decks myself. As my example goes, I wouldn't grab Face Hunter and go into casual mode, because to me it just seems silly... though considering Face Hunter is brainless, it's not really the best example as far as learning a deck goes.

Maybe I'm bothered more because it's giving me the impression that either these people aren't as excited to try stupid shit as I am, or they know people like me exist and want to prey on sub optimal decks with aggro decks with 2 new cards. Either way, it's not as though I'm upset, Just confused and a little bothered.

Too early to say for sure but I don't disagree. That being said, I don't think many people doubted that Tuskarr Jouster was anything but great.

posted a message on complaints about netdecking in Casual

It's a question that's been on my mind, because with the release of TGT I made a bunch of decks (many being bad at the time) and decided "I'm still only at rank 15 or whatever, I'll just give them a couple games" and... dropped to rank 17, because everyone else was still playing Face Hunter and Handlock. My own fault, not really upset there. So I tweaked the decks and went into Casual...

And ran into two face hunters, which were straight from the new Face Hunter list on Hearthpwn

While not a large amount, certainly, it does beg the question: Why bother netdecking in casual when there's nothing to be gained from it beyond completing quests? I suppose that could be a reasonable argument, but at the same time I can't imagine why people wouldn't try to have fun... especially with the fresh release of TGT. Just curious.

Blizz offers preorders on expansions for the first time (BRM was an Adventure, remember), 50 packs for the price of 40. Buy 10 packs with gold, then 15 with more money. Open them all, 75% of the cards are commons and only got 2 legendaries.

Set is unnecessarily inflated with commons and shit tier cards, open rates are shit, spend more money and get almost nothing. I'm not saying Blizz fucked with the rarity distribution on purpose, but they totally did. Luck shouldn't mean everyone opens 2-3 legends in 50 packs, with outliers opening more.

    75 packs

Over 266 commons, with 155+ of those being class cards.

86 rares, with 71 of those being class cards.

17 epics, with 13 of them being class cards.

2 legendaries, Gormok the Impaler and Dreadscale

I opened 7 golden commons, 5 golden rares, and 1 golden epic.

EDIT: Just disenchanted my extra cards, got 1450 dust. Not even enough for one legendary. Great.

Overall, I'm rather upset. I've gotten way more legendaries just from opening classic and GvG packs with gold. I really hope I just got unlucky and they haven't fudged up the drop rates, but it sounds like most everyone is getting shafted.

But yea, fundamentally, it might just be the hero power that needs a drastic change. Off the top of my head, I was thinking something like, "give +1/+1 to a beast", as the hero power, seeing as their main theme IS in fact beasts. It's a fair hero power and would mitigate the crazy fixation with "face".

But you can't use that hero power every turn. People do need to realize that they can't make a hero power that you can't use EVERY turn. Anything that requires minion interaction is automatically out, because if you have no minions you can't push the button. Sure, healing on turn 2 could be a dead play, but you can DO it.

I mean, it would help if you explained what Meditate was.

Also, straight up effects that make your opponent discard should probably be valued higher than 2 mana, especially for 2 cards on a single attack. Sure, it needs to be removed, but it seems a little unbalanced to me.

Also, Patient Grandmaster is basically "Immune to minion attacks and also does the damage equal to the attacking minion's attack" which seems finnicky and worth a bit more than two mana. But that's just me. As concepts, they're interesting...

Decks are cool, but they stand no chance against current meta.

Then I guess it's a good thing that TGT will change the meta.

And also that these decks wouldn't be played in constructed.

That feel when you get the Beat Down quest and every opponent you beat concedes with 10 or so health left.

Conceding is actively detrimental to a number of the quests, even minorly. It's beyond frustrating, even if the detriment is so small that anyone who plays a lot wouldn't notice it. But a quest that should take 3 and a half games to finish taking much longer because you lose out on 30 or so damage on average is damn irritating.

I don't remember it always being common to just concede the second things look like they're over. I've stopped conceding unless the person is BMing super hard, but I don't think I've encountered more than one person in the past couple of weeks that hasn't conceded when it was clear I had won.

While it would have some good synergy with Thoughtsteal Burgle and Nefarian it wont see much play.

It might make it into a video highlight or two if it somehow causes the player to win the game in a "trollish" way.

Only one of those cards could even get this, and that implies that your opponent is playing the card.

EDIT: Looking at your comment, that probably isn't what you meant, but at the same time I can't even tell what you mean.
