I can understand the sentiment, but it would just be the same decks, that just happen to be good in a certain brawls... atleast this way it is something differend for 5 days.

Sykomyke posted a message on The Standard Brawliseum Has Taken Over Tavern Brawl This Week!Posted in: NewsStill not entirely happy with these types of brawls. Brawls should have interesting additional mechanics, or fun rulesets. Standard Constructed cards w/ Arena rewards and formatting is just lazy, and honestly boring. It's just going to encourage hyper aggro decks so people can farm wins as fast as possible. Normally I don't badmouth Blizzard, but this is just lazy designing, and honestly brawls should be "random and fun" as they originally promised.

OldsFirenza posted a message on Community Choice Awards: Year of the Mammoth ResultsPosted in: NewsI've played Dungeon Run 50+ times, but still haven't bothered defeating The Lich King with every class. The single player content of KnC put it way over the top for me. While the Death Knights were obviously way more powerful than the class weapons, I think on the whole the set was much better designed. Corridor Creeper was about the only misstep, but there were a greater quantity of oppressive cards in Frozen Throne like Bonemare, Cobalt Scalebane, Shadowreaper Anduin, Malfurion the Pest, Spreading Plague, Obsidian Statue, Prince Keleseth etc.

Sinti posted a message on The Wild Brawliseum Has Taken Over Tavern Brawl This Week!Posted in: NewsBut for God's sake. An appeal to all standard players. Wild is the wild. Don't play Cubelock or Big Priest. The machine is not a wild deck, but a standard deck played in the wild. I hate these players the most.
Mby they dont have a decent Wild deck? Id say this any day, but when there is an actual fee-reward involved, even more so ... ppl can play whatever they like and whatever they think will bring them results. Your enjoyment is not their business. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Not really that great of a fight. When one of the main ways to beat a boss is to hope that they play a Fel Reaver then mill them, that's not good design. Your deck choices leading up to this boss mean little in that case.

So... it's Wednesday of next week. What happened to 'early next week'?

I'm annoyed that this costs four and summons four imps. Four points isn't a circle, it's a square.

Sweet merciful crap what a miserable experience that was.
Admittedly it was partially my fault, I accidentally left out some key cards, but going up against naga warlock when I'm already at two losses was pretty annoying. I would have had a better time and been much less stressed if I had simply conceded the three matches and left with the pack.
I fooled myself into wanting more of a reward than a normal tavern brawl gives, and soured my mood because I didn't get it.

Mithril Spellstone works really well in this brawl. The rogue hero power upgrades it.

It doesn't return the minion to your hand. It makes an extra version of the minion, and that goes into your hand. The original is still in play.

Pray the opponent doesn't cast too many sinister squashlings before you can establish a board, and you'll have a decent chance of actually winning.

It's be great if they added a card preview or something along with these things. I personally don't care much about them otherwise.
