Nefarian is defintely the card to cut if you want to add in Geddon. It's an effective deck to climb with but It's not really something I would bring to a tourney. I'd cut Frothings and add in an owl and a Ragnaros or Alextrasza if you're doing tournaments. I've actually done that while on ladder and you might prefer it as well. I like frothings and this deck is good but I still prefer a traditional CW build albeit I also like playing shredders in CW. You might like it more than traditional CW so give it a try! ;)
Fibonacci has been cutting Ragnaros for Geddon recently. I don't know what his list is currently but it's probably more or less the same. I say you should craft Ysera first. It's extremely greedy but you can afford to be greedy. She's being played a lot recently and she adds to your late game arsenal. When you get enough dust you should probably craft both. Geddon is a sweeper that's attached to a 7/5 body while Ysera acts as a finisher/cardfactory. You might find that you would like to run both and plus Ysera is a DRAGON while Geddon is just Lothar in fire form. :) If you get the chance you should try Nefarian in traditional CW as well. Warrior can make use of most of the cards that Nefarian gets and is similar to Ysera in function. I personally play both together and the control matchup has been extremely good to me lately. Just my 2 cents.
how often do u use brawl? since i use frothings and piloted shredder to control mid game its often just a dead card
i think brawl fits in the standard CW
I thought about cutting Brawl but it is definitely good when the board gets out of hand. I haven't played too many games yet so the situation hasn't come up too much. Its a pseudo-aoe so I think I'll keep it in for now.
i run a similar list but my late game is bit different from yours
anyways, how come no Loatheb? in all of my control decks and mdrange decks loatheb is a staple
I wouldn't be able to fit Loatheb in. It definitely not bad in Control but whenever I play warrior I'm usually striving to control the board instead of gain tempo. Warrior already has a good matchup against the classes that loatheb is good against anyways and it doesn't really help the Druid matchup all too much. Its good but I would probably play Harrison before Loatheb.
So I've been climbing with this deck pretty recently and I've been enjoying it. I put in more midgame minions such as Frothing Berserker and Piloted Shredder to fill out the curve instead filling out the top of the curve. I'm only playing 1 Shieldmaiden because while it's a pretty efficent minion I really don't see the need for 2, especially in this deck. Nefarian is really good in attrition matchups and is better than Alex in the Handlock matchup(assuming you get something like Shadowflame). I'm not playing Alexstrasza at the moment but it is one of the cards I'm thinking about fitting in along with Whirlwind. Tell me what you think! :)
Pretty late post but IMO either Mech Druid or Ramp Druid w/ combo is the best Druid list. Mech druid has the potential to be really good but a refined list has not come out yet. Ramp Druid can stabilize against aggro really well and playing combo gives the deck another dimension. It allows you to have an alternate win condition besides playing big creatures and gives you a better chance against decks that ramp druid have a bad matchup against. Imo Midrange Druid is kind of weak On ladder, especially with th absurd amount of hunter. I just hate the deck though so ou can ask the other people about it lol.
I've been playing around with it a lot today. I don't think the list has any immediate faults but I was hoping to get some feedback. I still don't know if I want Yeti or Piloted Shredder in the deck and I've been playing around with both. Spectral Knight instead of Loatheb might be a thing as well.
I've been playing the deck like this so far. I'm probably gonna add another AOE and another healbot but I've been doing pretty well with this so far. I'm a big fan of control mage so I've built it closer to one of those.
frostbolts might be better than leper gnomes because they can stall, do more damage, or clear a 3 health minion when you need to. Not to mention you're also playing Pyro so it synergizes pretty well. Mad Scientist could be good, especially since you're running 3 traps. Thins out your deck as well.
This is one of the decks I hate playing against because the games just take way too long and I get frustrated lol. I remember playing Yu-gi-oh and playing against a burn/stall/mill deck and I needed to use the bathroom but the game lasted 30 min. Anyways, it seems like a fun deck. It reminds me a lot of a weird fatigue mage.
The deck looks really slow, but it's still usable. It honestly has a lot of potential. However if I were to try and make the changes I wanted to the deck, It would be a totally different list so I'll just you what I mean lol
Playing 2 sunfury is better than playing 2 defender because it costs 2 mana less and it's primary use is to taunt minions. If you can't afford to make Jaraxxus and all the other necessary cards after that then you should probably finish the core of the deck since you already have Alex. When I was in the same boat as you, I also tried faceless when I didn't have my 2nd mountain giant. It usually clumped up my hand and in the current meta it would probably be even worse. I haven't tried Recombobulator but my giants usually die to effects instead of damage so I wouldn't put it in personally. You either want to run Ogres or Watchers; not both. I haven't tried Ogres yet so I'm just going to assume they do the same thing as Watchers. I've also tried to run KT in HL and haven't found much success.
Handlock is not doing as well as it has in the past but I still have faith in its ability to put down some decent stats. One of the reasons is how screwed up its match ups are. If you make it too anti aggro, you lose to control. If you make it too control oriented, you get fireballed.
Its still my favorite deck and I'll play it to death. Gl and Hf with your deck!
Not playingKnife Juggler in a deck with Haunted Creeper and 25 minions is probably mistake. The control aspect of the deck is also probably holding you back. Every single one of your spells is a burn spell that can win you the game or clear minions. That's situational of course. You're also playing minions that suck too much on their own to be considered in a control deck like Worgen Infiltrator and Wolfrider. Sure, Wolfrider can be used to trade with a minion but I would usually only do that to protect my own minions or when I'm about to die. Most of the time it's a "face" card. Soulfire is also pretty much a card that is strictly for burn decks; especially after the nerf. Not playing Voidwalker in zoo is also a nono. I see that you've replaced it for Annoy-o-Tron. Voidwalker pretty much does the same thing as it except for one less mana. You can still play annoyotron but it can probably be replaced with something that can get you more value likeKnife Juggler.
Recombobulator doesn't get as much value as you think. Most of your minions are small and going to die or trade anyways. Instead of Recombobulating a four drop it's probably better to play a card that gets you value no matter what.
Shieldbearer has been doing work and let's me go face sometimes where I otherwise couldn't. The Divine Shield is actually pretty good right now which is why I've opted to play Argent Squire and Scarlet Crusader. They're resilient against AOE and can kill minions with little drawback. Playing Dark Bomb instead ofNerubian Egg might be a mistake, especially since I'm running doubleDefender of Argusbut it's been doing well so far.
Your deck needs a tweak here and there but I'm pretty confident in your ability to make the necessary adjustments. Gl!
So I have enough dust to craft another legendary and I can't decide what I want to craft. I'm actually pretty happy with my current list but I have expendable dust so why not? I'm not a fan of Jaraxxus or Alex because they can get harrisoned or BGH'ed respectively but I've never actually used jaraxxus. Also, crafting Jaraxxus means crafting a class specific card that I can't use in other decks. Crafting Cairne means that I go for more control which I'm actually leaning towards. Sometimes I actually lack a finisher so Rag might fix that problem.

Lifecoach created the original version of this deck. I have a version of this deck I posted awhile back as well. Good deck though
