1) it's not even remotely close to auto-include in every class (unless mages somehow started playing minions or hunters decided that cards costing more than 5 were good to include in face decks, amongst the first that come to my mind)
2) This card is usually good at keeping greedy decks in check. Whether you like that or not is another matter entirely
3) Why does everyone have to preface everything with "I've been playing since beta, in fact I created the game in my sleep when I was 3 years old and then blizzard stole my idea"? Would your complaints have less merit if you'd started playing last March?
4) If the card is as busted as you seem to think it is, it'll be addressed again. 5 mana was way too little to pay for it but there are plenty of decks that are either very good (quest shaman, face hunter, aggro ele shaman/ele shaman, shadow priest, anacondra druid) or very popular (d6lock, quest mage) that don't use it and never will. The only class that regularly uses this card is paladin, rather literally. One variant of questlock uses it too (IIRC it's the best one, but without recent data I can't exactly be certain) and the 3 people on ladder still using quest rogue...so I seriously don't understand being so incensed about it, if I'm honest.

Antique healbot barely sees play anymore. Also anything works with Brann, there are much better synergy with it than just a generic 8 armor or tharussan.

I mean if you're playing ranked you go for quick/sucessful decks. Aggro ticks all that marks. If you wanna play control in Wild, you must have the patience of a god. This is the case for most card games that run Wild, not just HS. Shadowverse runs Aggro Blood, Aggro Sword, and Aggro Haven. Why? Because its fast and efficient, and all people wanna do in ranked is surprise, rank up. That doesn't mean control can't etch out wins in HS or Shadowverse. In fact in some Wild tournies there are some control decks that outmatch aggro. However, when you're climbing you have no time for playing a 30 minute game compared to a 5 minute game.

Aside from coins on maxed mercs, I think this is a good overall patch addressing most of the issues. So we know at least Blizzard isn't blind to it. Whether they actually DO the changes is another story. But for now I think its some nice QoLs, especially with the training arena, task board changes, and obtaining portraits OUTSIDE of just packs.

Honestly it all depends, we have to see the numbers first. If mysterious stranger pops up more frequently the closer you are to the level then sure, I'd be all for it and not have to farm quillboars. However if its the opposite that's a pretty bad change ngl. Gotta see how reddit does the math before I can judge the change. Most likely its a nerf, but I'd rather see the math in action rather than jump on random bandwagons.

I mean yeah most games are F2P if you play enough problem is time vs gain. Stuff like LoR gives you stuff on the dot so you barely have to grind to meet requirements. Hell they even made singleplayer free there. Shadowverse is a bit grindy but overall its a reasonable amount of time to play. HS if you want something it's gonna cost a hellva lot, with no compensation. So far we don't know how exactly Mercenaries mode rewards are gonna go but judging from the prepurchase already a lot of people are understandably worried. I've played since GT meta, and slowly HS literally requires you to get the prepurchase bundle to get anywhere with multiple decks. Sure with enough grinding you can get one meta deck, but the fun of card games is experimenting with the meta and playing with unique combinations. It isn't fun to grind out 20+ hours a week to get one meta deck everyone is playing just to repeat the process again.

Amalgam has already proved a good option at tier 6 for flexs in builds, megasaur would just make it so that we have a bunch of 23-23 poisonous divine shield nonesense, pogos they already stated they don't want in battlegrounds due to the fact it is hard to balance with several champions like the one that swaps minions, lastly holy mackeral would be way too broken as you can rotate divine shields easily between two of them and considering you can give murlocs poisonous it would not be a desireable game state.

Its to bring up attention to the lawsuit. What better way to bring up attention to the lawsuit then wondering where the card reveal went.

To build hype for later, idk. Sometimes for other card games like LoR or Shadowverse you gotta wait days before you even get one card reveal

Well when the reward is getting more equipment to play with, yes we will complain
