insane rng outcomes to seal a game even if you completely outplayed the opponent.
so there is skill involved, if you outplayed your opponent. rng is part of the game, but you can still win games with good plays, even if rng is against you
outplaying in hearthstone doesnt mean skill actually. drawing the right answers and using them is the same as playing on curve and so on.
sorry for you, but this game is indeed low skilled. most of the times it comes down to some lucky top deck turnarounds or insane rng outcomes to seal a game even if you completely outplayed the opponent.
sure it does increase your chances on something different, i never questioned that ;)
Of course you dont keep a hand full of 8+ mana cost cards for example. Pretty much everyone ( me too ) rerolls stuff that is obviously not useful to have in the opening hand.
But saying you can "actively" mulligan for a certain card just because it didnt show up on the first hand you get offered, is just plain dogsh1t. All you can do is hope for it to show up on the mulligan, just like you hope for some game turning outcome when using your puzzle box of Yogg.
it doesnt make any difference if you play vs players of all sorts of ranks or only legend vs legend players.
The decks are mostly the same anyway, and besides that, the game has such an insanely low skill cap.. so your enemy challenge is basically the same regardless of the rank.

"mulligan for [insert rnd cardname]".
Just lol. you cant predict the outcome of the cards you'll get offered when you mulligan. you may end up getting even worse stuff than before.
so whats this idiotic advice all the time?

I play Constructed only. That BG was an interesting approach, but i really hate that you cant choose the targets you wanna attack.
Also, the RNG is so much over the top, its just hilarious.. even more crap than in usual hearhstone.
DoD actually put some nice new flavour into the game, deck variety is bigger than before, and overall constructed feels so much better than bg..
