The card can lead to some powerful spells in the following turn, like a "true" preparation. I think weapon buffs are quite difficult to balance and might lead to some clunky wording (like can't attack the enemy hero). You can cycle it with Gadgetzan Auctioneer or make a token with Violet Teacher in the worst case. It is potentially more powerful than Preparation but messes up your next turn order.
Assuming we get a "forbidden" card for each class, I was trying to make a reasonable rogue card. I don't want to do anything too overpowered, so what do you think about the power level? Note that the effect is still valid the next turn.
Even though it is unlikely that patron will still be a viable deck after the format change, how good will it actually be? Just imagine your hogger after each whirlwind effect. the gnolls are 2/1 and 2/2 at max (and in most cases not more than 2 anyways), so it feels like you have to jump through a lot of hoops to pull that off. Maybe if you go a bit more spell heavy and add wild pyromancers... But then priest might be a better fit after all.
That being said, the new hogger is design-wise at a really interesting spot, because it is quite difficult to evaluate in the vacuum we are in right now. It is a well designed card, not overpowered but still potentially extremely powerful.
I wanted to go a bit deeper than that. For example, shaman needs more 1 drops than druid, since they lack any ping mechanic, hence depending more on early board presence. Rogue also should have more early game than mage for example, due to many rogue decks ending up more tempo than value oriented.
I doubt that you can draft consistently viable midrange decks for classes like hunter or priest. There is always the smORC plan of course, but for example I could improve my druid performance by almost 1 win on average by shifting the curve to higher drops.

Even though I am an advanced arena player (5k+ wins, 7.3avg.), I always try to improve my gameplay. Therefore I would like to get your opinion on
It might be a bit theoretical, but maybe it helps us all (especially beginners) to improve!

3k gold and 50k+ dust not counting excess golden cards, nerfs or Naxx.
My collection will rival Rafaam's, unless he takes it...
edit: sry one digit too much

I think this card is very poorly designed. It is a brutal overkill basically denying a variety of interesting strategies.

That was not the point. The card my opponent drew was revealed to me, so I got information about his draw. I was wondering if it is a bug or not...

It was indeed with a Druid of the Claw! Could be, though it is a new bug, since I have never seen it before in the same scenario.
