First of all, have you ever thought that they are possibly trying to make the game different from the norm by not doing so? Second, if a player wants to start playing now, adding more complex cards will not help them get into the game more easily. Third, with a rotating core set the game can no longer be f2p for competitive players. Fourth, bo3 will make the game more time consuming. And last, f2p draft mode exists and it's called arena (you have to pay an entrance fee but you get rewards back so technically it is f2p)
odd paladin actually requires skill to win all the anti-aggro matchups, if your deck doesn't have the answers to paladin then it's your deck's problem, you can't win every single matchup.
Just to add a personal note, versus control priest ideally you want to play your wisps to bait the psychic scream, then redraw them with UI. On top of that even if you don't draw the wisps again, your armor gain with oaken summons, branching paths and dk is super helpful, making the mind blast combo almost impossible. Usually i'm investing into the fatigue gameplan most of the times in this matchup.
That was a really easy run even for me (i'm not the best in monster hunts and dungeon runs), i built a deck around weapons (with the discover a tess' weapon treasure, rummaging kobold etc) and pirates (yes, with multiple copies of patches in the deck, and it's 2k18)
Valeera and SI are too slow, i’m playing two counterfeit coins and a backstab to combo with elven minstrel, and novice engineers instead of fire flies. I would also consider adding hungry crab as a one drop in the current meta
I see you put effort in that list, but I really disagree with the following cards being included in the meme list: Devolve and Firelands Portal are top tier cards and their place is not anywhere near meme cards. Same goes for Evolve which alone brought a new shaman archetype. 4 mana 7/7 was the bomb during shamanstone. Yogg wins games out of thin air and he was nerfed for a reason. Babbling Book, Swashburglar and Medivh, the Guardian are great cards and used in a lot of meta decks. Bomb Squad is a fantastic arena card. I can't see why is Shaku included as well.
probably means they are bless rng and they have quite funny results sometimes, not that they are bad cards, just that the outcome can be for the memes

Good thing is... it doesn't have stealth

Genn Greymane, wild even Shaman is broken af

Feno pilots the deck really well, he is the streamer you are looking for.

Try the same with jade spirit to check if it triggers as well, it is probably because they can be used in other classes

Dreamhack was last hero standing tho, this is conquest

That's the lineup i'm using in tournaments, still loses to some control-heavy lineups

They are all good, evenlock is a bit better i think, but pushing for legend needs lots of time anyway, especially in this meta
