    Revisiting an old idea that now works with the Overkill keyword:

    Overkill is such a strange keyword. There are a handful of times where adding Overkill to a card actually makes the text longer.

     Very nice. I'd drop the damage to 4 though, as drawing is extremely powerful in Hunter.

    posted a message on Your Best and Worst Boomsday Art

    I'd have to go with either Mulchmuncher or Zerek's Cloning Gallery. Mulchmuncher I've always liked. Love hippos; really love mech-hippos. Zerek's Cloning Gallery has great colours, golden animation, and I really love the aesthetic/theme of cloning tubes.

    If I had to go for the "worst" one, it'd be the recycled art they used this expansion. But if I had to pick from the new art, Omega Defender would be it. It's not bad, really, but it pales in comparison to the original art for the card, imo. It's not really the worst, it's just my least favourite.

    posted a message on Faeria - Strategy Card Game (now on Nintendo Switch)

    I've played Faeria before and, though I've fallen off a few months ago, this new expansion seems like a lot of fun. The game's very fun and quite different from Heartstone; can't imagine how fun it is now with the new dlc.

    I'll try playing it again, sometime. I'd definetely recommend people to try it out.

    Edit: Though, is it possible to get just the Everlife key over here? :I

    So everyone seems to think Soul Shackles is more interesting, albeit a bit confusing. So, I gave it a clearer text to explain the effect; I also think a cost reduction wouldn't be too bad. I also made some changes to Ghastly Glare. Which one should I go with?

    @wailor

    I prefer Pain Link, but I don't think it counts. Tbh I'm not huge on the other two. Curse of Flames is fine design but a bit wordy, and I'm against making your opponents discard; it's unfun for them. Out of those two, I'd pick Curse of Flames.

    @Vilegloom

    I'm not huge on Essence Drain since it's essentially just a tech card, but at the same time, there's currently no healing tech out there, and Healing Rain is pretty annoying. I think GameTheory has a point about Ghastly Glare- being boardlocked is no fun- but your opponent should be playing around clears anyway. I do feel like that would be the main point of the card, though; otherwise I'd just rather kill them. I do like Soul Shackles, though. It gives some protection from trading or could be used with setup to steal some guys. My only grievance is that it's kind of complex and hard to parse. I still don't totally get what it does; do you only get the first minion that dies, but all of them?

    @GameTheory345

    Definitely Full Moon. It's like a less consistent Polymorph but also continuesTreachery's line of thought, and I don't think I've seen anything quite like it, which I can't say for the other card.

     What do people think of this? Please say it's good; with the big comp, I don't know if I can spare the creativity to come up with another.

     Thanks for the feedback! Soul Shackle is supposed to summon (at the start of your next turn) whatever dies during your opponent's next turn. Seems like it wasn't clear. I'll probably go with this idea, though.

    Your cards is... simple. It's not bad, just simple. Usually simpler cards don't do as well as more complex cards, but you do your cards as you like. The idea itself is effective, and can protect you against most aggro/token decks (Paladin, Druid). Not too bad.

    Also, HUGE missed opportunity to call it Dread Lord (dreadlord, nathrezim). That's just me tho :)

    What do u think?

     The base idea is cool. However, I would make a few changes:

    • Remove Windfury. It can backfire too easily. Also, all Windfury cards are either Shaman or Neutral.
    • Reduce its cost. I think 2 Mana (without Windfury) would be ok.
    • Select a rarity. Right now, it's a basic card, which is a bit weird IMO.

    Looking for feedback on balance and flavor :)

    My doubt here is: does this card keep reducing the HP cost until it costs (2) or (0)?

    Also, I'm not sure if the flavor is there. Maybe if it kept increasing the cost instead of reducing it, it would make more sense, but it'd be unbalanced as heck.

    Quote from BrammekeH >>

    It's probably a very weak card, but this is what I came up with after thinking about it for a little. Thoughts?

     Yeah, it's weak. I'd like it more if you could fit a "Draw a card", but the text is already too long. Another option is making it cost (1) or even (0).

    Btw, here are my cards:

    Pain Link is my favourite, but I'm not sure if it fits the requirement.

    Curse of Flames was going to be called Curse of Flatulence, but I decided to be more serious.

    Curse of Ignorance is a twisted version of Paladin's Blessing of Wisdom. I'm not sure if it offers anything besides that and a funny art, however.

    Which one do you prefer?

    I'm pretty sure neither Pain Link nor Curse of Flames qualify. Dealing damage is not a debuff.

    Curse of Ignorance, however, qualifies. The card itself has a pretty neat effect. The flavour of the card feels weird; "Curse" and "Ignorance" don't really go well together and I feel they don't fit the card. That's just me, though.

     I feel like having both healing and draw included into one makes the card too complicated. I think drawing whenever your opponent draws is perfect, works for handlock and zoolock just great.

    I need some feedback to properly balance this, I really like the idea.

     Considering you're giving minions your opponent doesn't necesarily need to play (unlike Curse of Rafaam), and may not be that bad even if they did, you could lower the cost to (4), imo. (5) is too costly for doing nothing in and spending half you mana. Maybe (4) is still expensive, but less so.

    After seeing the results, all I can say is

    O U C H

    Too bad there's so little competitors left. I guess I'll be planning some future expansions for next time, though I'd love to team up with someone when the time comes.

    I'll still be around if anyone needs logos. If that's the case, hit me up.
