5hiZ posted a message on Increase maximum/starting health?Posted in: General DiscussionI think 40 health would be better than what it is now. Or heroes could have passive 1 attack so that minions that attack into it take damage. That would force people to accept the fact that their weak minions would not get repetitive damage and raise the importance of having higher health minions. There's a lot of ways to fix aggro problems that Blizzard will never consider.

Apparition16 posted a message on 35 More Cards UnreleasedPosted in: General DiscussionSo everyone, how do you think we'll find out about the cards we have left to be revealed? Exactly 35 cards are remaining, and I've been having some interesting theories. For instance:
Each class is assumed to get 9 cards each, making up 81 of the total MSOG card set, and when you add in the 9 tri-class cards, it makes an even 90 cards. We've seen all 9 tri-class cards, and for each class we've seen:
- Druid - 8 cards (1 left)
- Hunter - 6 cards (3 left)
- Mage - 6 cards (3 left)
- Paladin - 9 cards (0 left)
- Priest - 7 cards (2 left)
- Rogue - 7 cards (2 left)
- Shaman - 7 cards (2 left)
- Warlock - 4 cards (5 left)
- Warrior - 6 cards (3 left)
That means that out of the 90 non-neutral cards, we've seen 60 class cards, 9 tri-class cards, and HAVEN'T seen at least 21 class cards.
If we do the math, out of the 35 remaining cards to be seen, 21 being class cards, that means we should have 14 neutral cards. What I wondered was, since we've seen Blizz switch things up with card release, voting, etc. for this expansion, will we see a surprise? The only class to have seen "all" of their class cards is Paladin. They got 1 Legendary, 2 Epics, 3 Rares, and 3 Commons. I'm wondering if we might see a surprise after seeing these 9 rarities for each class. Like maybe a surprise class card for each class? A third Epic? A second Legendary? We've seen 2 Legendaries in a class before with Hunter, so it's not unheard of. That would mean the breakdown would change, making 30 out of the 35 class cards, and probably 5 neutral Legendaries. Just having fun with our last bit of this countdown; which leads me to my next question -
Do you think we'll receive the last 35 cards in a "dump" like every other expansion? Or will we see something new this time around? Even the dreaded, "Don't show them a chunk of cards until release and let them find out when they go into crafting"? Let me know what you all think! Take care :-D

BouncingBlades posted a message on Druid Looking to be the only viable jade class ?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from KarabelasReal >>Why do you guys have to start attacking each other in every thread? The OP makes some solid points, and then the discussion devolves (heh. Devolve) to whether Farseer is good enough heal to sustain a midrange rogue (spoilers: it's not).
With the cards released so far, Druid is looking to be the best Jade class. Does anyone disagree with this? Not only do they have the best Jade support up to now, but they are one of the most well-rounded classes in the game, if not the most well-rounded, to adapt such strategies. They have mana acceleration, single target removal, cycle, draw, heal (mainly in the form of armor), and their aoe albeit weak is still quite functional. And it's not even the first time this happens; C'thun was a relatively similar mechanic to this one, and it only worked in two classes, Druid and Warrior. Have you played C'thun Rogue? I tried it (spoilers: don't).
Farseer is NOT enough neutral heal to sustain such playstyles from Rogue. Farseer can be used in combo style decks, which is all that Rogue has right now, only to possibly buy them the extra turn required to kill the opponent. When you drop the combo kill elements from your deck, like Cold Blood, Malygos, Leeroy, etc, you have to win the fair game on board, which is very difficult when your hero power actively encourages you to use your life as a resource. Is the lack of neutral heal the only problem? No, of course not. You could still jam Farseer and whatever other neutral heal you find and try to build a midrange (or control) Jade Rogue deck, but with what cards? The Jade support they gave to Rogue so far is horrible compared to the Druid counterparts; it's C'thun all over again, with Druid getting Klaxxi Amber-Weaver and Dark Arakkoa, and Rogue getting a 9mana Assassinate you never got to cast because you died before turn9.
Nobody's stopping you from trying a Jade Rogue deck. I know I will, I've played every possible Rogue deck available so far anyway. But with what we've seen so far, if you're going for the best performing Jade deck, Rogue isn't where you'd go for it. And if you're going for the best performing Rogue deck, Jade isn't where you'd go for it either.
this guy gets it,i am just frustrated by the people who want to squeeze out every insult possible while they're replying, and the overall negativity of the commentsthis guy has an opinion , let go shit over his thread and eat it alive by negative comments -

With a really similar deck to this one, I've just had the holy macaroni dream:
Turn 1: Enemy pass turn / I use coin + Nerubian Egg
Turn 2: Enemy hunter hero power / I drop another Nerubian Egg
Turn 3: Enemy hero power again (a bit strange for a hunter, cause turn 3 they almost always have some cheap drops, but whatever, maybe he got a terrible hand) / I drop Flametongue Totem, hit face for 2+2 with eggs :D
Turn 4: Enemy drops Oasis Snapjaw / I drop Baron Rivendare, hit his turtle with both Nerubian Egg -> Suddenly I have 4/4 x4, two of them buffed to 6/4 with the totem.
Turn 5: Enemy surrenders.
Well, I was lucky as hell, but that Rivendare can be funny (and überpowerful with a bit of luck/nice draws), and I think shaman is one the best classes to use him because of Reincarnate, which lets you make use of his passive in a really easy mode. The deck is nice, as said the one I use is really close to this and so far is 6-0 win streak, dunno at higher ranks.
Have fun with the new cards :3

I understand your feelings, happened the same to me, and that's the reason I just droped that card from all my warlock decks (I play control too). So bad that my favourite theme class is the one with that stupid discard mechanics :_____(

I've always said that card (Ice Block) was the real problem with mages, more than any other mechanic or spell they got. And I think particularly mages being able to get 2 "free" extra turns is the worst idea ever, cause they just can bombard your face while laughing at you. I'd just remove that card, cause I think it can bring too many headaches to both players and developers, but if not there are some ideas to "fix" it:
1 - Hypothermia: After using Ice Block, you can't pop that secret again next turn (twice in a row). Just like it works in WoW. It makes much more sense in both lore and balance terms.
2 - More counters to secrets: I wrote a post with some class specific ideas to deal with secrets, but it just got completely ignored. I mean, they can be bad ideas or not, but some discussion would be nice. The post is this one:
http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/3332-class-ideas-vs-secrets
If you wanna elaborate something you're welcome. Maybe we could bring some interesting and cool ideas to the table.
Have a nice day.
