I think I enjoy Grinning Lucy more than King Togwaggle, I mean it could of been a fun deck to play and worked smoother, and easier to just silence it than. Than trying difficult to pull Skulking Gheist/Journey to Un'goro combos.
Also wasn't dual wield a interesting mechanic a lot of people wanted to see? At least I would have liked to have seen it. I'm surprised they didn't do more with it. :/
I think you would change your mind very quickly, if Togwaggle's ability looked like Grinning Lucy's. I think one day would be enough, probably less.
I mean I could see that train of thought, I guess I'm just a little disappointed that one of the main flavorful bosses/cards in the set see's about 1% play in the current meta (Not even sure if its a bit more or less than that), yeah I guess the Battlecry and deathrattle effect could get out of hand, but I really felt Blizzard could have attempted a few more ways to make King Togwaggle a better card. At least have made the Ransom card go into your opponent's deck to make the game a bit more interesting for a bit longer.

So below I posted my Rogue deck that I think might do well pretty well competitively, but I wanted to get some opinions on what I can do to make it better, I also will post a link to the my decklist where I go a bit more into detail about the combo.
I would try watching some videos by Brian Kibler he normally does heavily control mage/priest classe decks, and Kazakus variations decks. You may learn some pointers from him. I can't see why a control mage deck wouldn't work myself however.
Correct me if I am wrong but if you use the recruit mechanic to pull Barnes out of your deck it does not activate the battlecry therefore pulling off what you are trying to accomplish, which I'm assuming by the post is Guild Recruiter into Barnes into Rin, the First Disciple, would not work.
I think the best weapons in this order are Druid, Paladin, Mage, and then Rogue. That being said I’m probably not going out of my to craft any weapons, because every single deck will be playing weapon removal day one. But if I do craft one I would probably craft the Druid weapon, because it punishes removal.
Guys what I think he means by this is it's a card that if your opponent doesn't shape the board by destroying your recruits or you don't trade them its a card that is massively reduced like Sea Giant, its more of card that both you and your opponent have control over instead of you just throwing it down whenever you want.
I think we may have more of midrange expansion versus a lot of aggro, with a good amount of control decks. The only deck in aggro that will see a ton of play is Warlock and anything that will continue to run Keleseth, Colbalt, and Bonemare probably from previous expansions. Overall the power level of the cards are much higher than normal. The only weapons I feel may see play are Druid, Paladin, and possibly Mage/Hunter.
I can see something being changed for Acidic Swamp Ooze to be nerfed to remove two durability from a weapon instead of destroying it. But I really see no reason why it would ever get rotated out, that's just dumb.

You forgot Holy Nova 5, if you are facing a really odd/crazy control Priest lol

I'm probably going to play a ton of this deck, I love Control Warrior and the looks like one of the most fun decks I have seen in a while!
