People seem to forget that wild is the same game we played not long ago and were sick of. Don't come telling me how hard and fun it is now, get the fuck off.

TheImmondBeast posted a message on WILD == HardPosted in: Wild FormatI was never sick of wild, even when it wasnt called that way. The only problem that HS has is the shallow card pool and few decks are viable in Standard; in this way, Wild can only get better, while Standard will always have this problem. -

Yep, you completely walked into **his** bait, not the other way around. -

LordPikachuStarscream posted a message on AOE Is worthless right now.Posted in: Standard FormatIf he held back 33 worth of stats for 9 mana, then he didn't play into Equality Cons; he baited it. I play N'Zoth Paladin and one of my strategies vs. Warrior is to purposely overextend when the opponent has one Brawl left, because then he is forced to use it and cannot answer N'Zoth when it comes down. AoE is not useless though. If you didn't have it at all, then the opponent could play as recklessly as they want to, and you wouldn't be able to punish. If nothing else, it's presence forces the opponent to slow down and make suboptimal plays.

I think when you can't follow simple comparisons you probably shouldn't be changing game systems. -

craptasm posted a message on The uninspired generation?Posted in: General DiscussionYour argument hinges on an assumption that the HS player base is somehow representative of the rest of society, but I really don't buy it. If that were true, then there would be no such thing as sexually transmitted diseases.

RoccoLaRochelle posted a message on Disenchanting every wild card - A good idea or not?Posted in: General DiscussionI will never get tired of stating this: NEVER, i repeat: NEVER dust ANYTHING you don't already have 2 of. You WILL regret it sooner or later, for sure. Dust math is clearly against you (DE 4 legs to craft one?!? doesn't this already ring a bell?), plus you never know what the future holds.
And why wouldn't you want to play wild? Are you a tournament pro player who plays at home exclusively to train for tournaments? In every other case i can't see even just ONE reason not to.
Why are you so interested in ranking up?
I'm sure Wild will be fun, you'll be able to make decks that in 1-2 expansions will have crazy synergies and super-powerful combos, so why not? I'm already having fun with my Wild Murlocs, and I'm sure I'll have even more when I'll find the time to make some other wild decks, so why would you deny yourself such fun and cut your HS experience by half?
Honestly, I don't get it.

I mouse over every card to check to see what rarity they all are before flipping over them.
Gotten two double Legendary packs like that; one with N'Zoth and Slogg the Slitherer, the other with Malygos and Archmage Antonidas.

Hey all, long time Magic player coming to Hearthstone to help curb costs induced in playing the game (Lack of a need to buy a Mana base, lack of a need for travel, among other things) and, for two reasons, I would like to focus solely on One class in particular.
Reason 1: Keeps the game incredibly cheap; Get the Class cards/Neutrals out of an expansion, be done with it. No need to want Legendary #2124 in order to play deck #214123, as it's not my class, I don't care about it. Also because I have 8/10 possible "Classes" I can unpack, Dusting is going to be common, further keeping costs of getting cards low. Not to mention eventually being able to craft Golden cards.
Reason 2: Forcing creativity. In Wild at least, every Class has a Legendary Capable deck, so being competitive wouldn't be an issue. Then there's the fact that not having to worry about playing 10 different decks in 7 different classes would allow me to have all the cards available to my one, I could easily start brewing up weird/fun decks.
Back in my Magic days I would sit there brewing deck after deck, getting them 90% finished and then moving on to the next deck. Needless to say, this got expensive quick. I really need to curb my spending, but I love CCG's too much to just outright stop playing them.
I'm having a hard time deciding between Warrior, Paladin, and Shaman. All three of them do what I would like them to do (Middle of the road classes that can play any style of deck, from Aggro to Control to Midrange to Silly) while having the types of cards I want (Healing, though in Warrior's case that's Armor, weapons, fun build around cards).
I have: Wild Secret Paladin, Wild MalyZeal Call (The Ancestor's Call/Malygos combo deck), Patron Warrior, Aggro Shaman, 90% of the Shaman's card catalog, and enough dust to craft 2 Legendaries. I'm probably going to dust EVERYTHING except the class that I choose to play with, just to make it more permanent.
Would love any and all feedback as to which class I should stick with.
