As you may or may not have noticed, the Spellstones' flavour text consists of poems. What I find really cool about these poems/pieces of flavour text is that when they are combined, they tell a story about Azari, the Devourer and his Spellstones!
In ages old, when Ancients broke
Azari of the Legion spoke
To tempt the mortals: gems of power
The weak succumbed, their souls devoured.
To dwarves of stone the demon called
With promises of might, enthralled
In grasping greed they found their doom
Forever bound in mithril tombs.
In ancient woods, elves fought the curse
The demon’s shadow to disperse
But hatred raged and frail souls turned
Now horned and hooved their forests burned.
The trolls of old embraced the gift
A jewel of black for daggers swift
No party lasts who finds the stone
Those wielding it soon stand alone.
A stone of blue, embraced with glee
By murloc lords beneath the sea
Soon numberless they swarmed the shore
First two, then four, then more...and more...
A purple stone Azari carved
For dark hearts, craving, power-starved.
The first to bow, the warlock Rin,
Embraced the darkness, slew her kin.
An emerald stone for Tauren hands
Who sought its strength to save their lands
Their tribes now lost, their rage released
Who’s hunting now? And who’s the beast?
A diamond, white, this stone the eighth
A precious jewel for those of faith
A whispered prayer restores the lost
But none among them know the cost.
The final stone undid its master
Spun into wards by nameless caster
Azari wailed a savage roar
Now sealed in nether, evermore.

Hopefully they don't put chemicals in the water.....

Amazing Midrange/control card. Extra resources while putting out decent to great minions.
This gives Shaman "Draw" without breaking aggro.

Late game bomb in Naga Giantlock. Save a giant or two and then BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Card game players have got to be some of the most short sighted people I've ever seen, I would fucking HATE to be in Brode and Co.'s shoes.
"Guys, I can't believe they nerfed Patron Warrior, there was no deck like it and it was a really cool interaction..."
"NERF NAGA GIANTS NOW, IT'S USING A STUPID INTERACTION AND THERE'S NO OTHER DECK LIKE IT!"
If T5 created some cards that specifically took care of multiple giant creatures (Anduin's battlecry, for instance), then boom, Naga Giants is balanced. Anyone who vomits their hand and fills their board with 4-6 giants is doing something called Overextending, and deserves to get punished for being wrecked by a single AoE.

I've been testing a Tempo Shaman list lately, which plays big minions for their cost and then gives them Windfury. It's kinda bad, but with a perfect draw it works pretty well.
And then I added Genzo, the Shark to it.
To say he warped the deck is a bit of an understatement. I know he doesn't *look* impressive, but being able to attack, draw three, cast three burn spells, attack, and draw three is BEAUTIFUL. Due to Overload, it's not that hard to be able to cast all the spells you draw that turn decimating the opponent's board or just straight up burning them for 20 damage out of nowhere. Genzo is quickly becoming my favorite Shaman legendary, even if this deck is still too inconsistent to be playable in ladder.
But it got me thinking; why didn't they go this route with Shaman? More Windfury cards, "Whenever this attacks" cards, and similar. It's a unique ability that would strengthen the Windfury theme in the class, without having to worry about balacing every minion around Windfury being added on.

Honestly, I've been testing Genzo, the Shark in a Tempo Shaman list, and I want another Ophidian.
The ability to Swing with Genzo to draw Windfury, Lightning Bolt, and Crackle (Yes, wild), cast them, swing with Genzo again and draw 1-3 more burn spells has been RIDICULOUS when I can pull it off. It's just..... really inconsistent since the only other "Draw on Attack" card we have access to is Wind-up Burglebot....

She's no where near comparable to Divine Favor......
