Twitchy posted a message on Hearthstone Yogg Nerf Patch Arrives this Week!Posted in: NewsI fully agree with this. And from my experience, Handlock was one of the first (and in the very early days of HS pretty much the only) decks that took a lot of skill and calculation to play properly.
And it was fun to watch in tournaments, rather than looking at everyone play face Shaman right now.

What is your overall experience when playing this card?
The problem is he will get a nerf. My experience with yogg? Very inconsistent. -

Horkinger posted a message on Fatigue DecksPosted in: General DiscussionDecks that can pressure the opponent do well against mill. The best counter is of course face aggro, because you can play your whole hand and get it refilled. Of course you need to kill healing minions to avoid that they get back into his Hand (vanish and shadowstep).
Playing against mill is not playing for value (with some very rare exceptions), but solely for tempo. Get rid of your hand and build a board as quick as possible. Make the mill rogue defend himself constantly so he can't set up his draw machine. Usually that's all. Of course, if you like to play greedy control decks (or control in general), it's more difficult since you will struggle to start pressuring the rogue in the early game. That gives him the possibility to save his removal and prepare for big vanish turns.
In general I think this matchup plays very similar like a matchup against freeze mage. If you can't kill them before they have all their combo pieces in hand, you will likely lose.
Edit: I assumed mill rogue. Of course against a fatigue warrior (or also fatigue "grinder" mage) you play probably different. They do not make you draw, so you need to look more for value than against rogue.

Just imagine a Control warrior / Control priest mirrormatch. Just no.I think it was meant that you have increasing fatigue damage, but if you draw more Cards in one go (like with arcane intellect), you only get the fatigue damage once for this carddraw. For instance: You are in fatigue and the next turn you draw a Card and get 1 damage. Next turn you get 2 damage. And then your Opponent plays Naturalize and you draw another two Cards, which only damage you one time for 3.But anyway, I think mill is hard enough to Play already and there are not so many archetypes to Play, so I don't like this idea either. -

I seriously hate losing to a fatigue deck. I wish this issue would be addressed. It's the same thing every time. Brann-Bronzebeard, Violet Illusionist, Coldlight Oracle and if you're really unlucky (like me) your opponent will have both Coldlight Oracles in hand.
It would be fantastic if players could only take one damge per card draw (assuming you're out of cards) instead of the increasing damage per card draw. (I'm not referrring to the increased damage you take for being out of cards, strictly the increased damage per card draw from cards played that make you draw cards (ex. Coldlight Oracle), confused enough?)
I realize that some love this play style and can win with it. I personally hate it.
How exactly can I counter this? Normally by the time I see it coming it's to late.
Edit: I was playing against a Warrior. We were both out of cards, I had 20 health and he had 4 when he played Brann-Bronzebeard, Violet Illusionist and 2 Coldlight Oracles.... I was screwed.
Edit: I came to the forum for help/advice on how to counter this.. If you're going to be rude, then please don't waste your time or mine by commenting. :-)

Kinda happy, kinda sad about Call of the Wild nerf.... Happy when I'm playing against a hunter, sad when I'm playing hunter!

Thank you Blizzard for not allowing us to talk to our opponents except via emote, otherwise I would probably (definitely) be permanently banned from Hearthstone.

Priest is my main and I am overly excited about the new female Priest, Tyrande!!! With that said, Blizzard showed us Tyrande and left us hanging!!! Any word on how or when we maybe able to acquire her?
