The idea being that you have to spend mana(gold) each turn if you want to buy a (goldshire) footman.

Battlecry includes your own minions as well.

Yeah, cheers to all who have pointed out that literally no one is upset about Dany going mad. Everyone knew that was coming. It's the way she got there that has people upset.
Flick of a switch.

a good brawl for once

Quote from YourPrivateNightmare >>does that make my points any less valid?
no?
then I don#t care
You can say you didn't like the episode. In fact, I do agree with you in most of the points. However, personally attacking Shadows and telling him he has no clue... that's not OK.
if he'S wrong I'll tell him he's wrong. He can have his opinion but that doesn't mean he's immune to criticism.
Most of the points he brought up are disingenous and come from a mentality of "I like it so it can'T be that bad".

Honestly, this long period of a time awaiting been devastating for me, I'm not feeling hyped at all after all of this, just felling angry and not myself.
Additionally streamers who got to play, kripp etc. was disgustingly unfair move by Blizzard. Revealing things is one thing, let someone play/explore content nobody else could for marketing purposes is whole another thing.
p.s. I got my 50 pre-order packs, and right now it feels like big mistake, also overpriced as hell.

I mean they could give the people the new deck recipes to show off the new cards coming next week, but instead we get this garbage. To be fair with those pre-release fireside gatherings it doesn't make as much sense, but I don't think many can or at least do get to such an event. It really is just rather silly. The mana shuffle is too ridiculous. Luckily I won my first game by playing a 1 mana psychic scream. Wow. At least it was a pack from the new expansion. Otherwise I might not even have played it.

Curse of Weakness synergy ! Can potentially lock your opponent's board for one turn.

We as Hearthstone players should just come to the acceptance that Priest will always be a bad class on ladder at least when it comes to Standard. Similarly, Warrior will always have multiple archetypes to choose from. And this is mainly because of how each classes' Basic and Classic sets are made.
Since these sets ultimately remain in the Standard set forever, they get to decide the overall viability of a class in the long run. Sure, in the next few adventures and expansions they'll give Priest the Shaman treatment of 4 Mana 7/7s, but that'll pass too. The sets will rotate out and Priest will come back to being the underdog. Due to the awful construction of both the Classic and Basic sets of Priest, the class will always struggle on ladder, even when it has an average set of cards to choose from, from the expansions. Largely, these two sets are terrible for Priest. Many cards are pure gimmicks and don't work in an actual deck. They don't have stuff like Brawl embedded in the class, which means that if they don't have a strong removal given to them in each rotation, they'll suck as a Control class, and it's not like there's much else this class knows how to do well. There's absolutely useless cards like Divine Spirit, Inner Fire, Mindgames, Lightwell, Lightspawn, Mass Dispel, Shadowform (give up guys, there's been no real support for this card since ever. What little Inspire deck that saw rise will be gone once the sets shift), Holy Fire, Mind Vision and Prophet Velen and many others that take up slots for useful Priest cards. And the thing is Priest is stuck with these forever.
Now, let's look at Warrior, quite possibly the best class in the game right now. Not only does it have a multitude of archetypes, they're all insanely good and viable. This class lacked Aggro and was pretty much the "Control" class along with Priest a couple of sets ago, but not only has it beaten Priest at handling Aggro, it has also beaten Priest at being Aggro! With decks like Pirate/Tempo and Dragon Warrior, there's Mid-range and Aggro oriented decks other than Patron. Warriors are good, and they'll remain to be good. They have one of the best Basic and Classic sets, with the only bad cards being Warsong Commander (Classic Blizz Nerf), Cleave and Upgrade!. Yeah, that's it, every other card in some way contributes to its plethora of archetypes. Regardless of how good or bad the sets are for Warrior, it will stay afloat. As long as this class doesn't get ten 10 Mana 0/0 cards, this class will remain good.
My question is, how is Priest supposed to survive in a biased rotation system like this? Not just Priest, how are classes like Shaman and Hunter supposed to be good. Unless they get 4 Mana 7/7s each time, or 8 Mana cards that give them 12 Mana worth of value each time, they'll be low-tier classes. They should have re-done the entire Basic and Classic sets for all the classes when Standard started, and if not all, at least for Priest, Hunter and Shaman, to make it so there's not a need to give these classes overpowered cards just to have a place in the meta for them. All in all, enjoy your treat this time round Priests, but know that it won't last long. And before you know it, you'll be back to the Tier 3 Meta you've known so well.

Very fun, and actually capable of winning! +1

A little bit sceptic about this. Reno Rogues tend to struggle with removal, unlike mage you can't just put 1x of every removal and get away with it.

Is Yogg really needed? Any replacement?

Replacement for Forbidden Flame?
Subbed an Arcane Explosionfor now.

Hey guys, I've played an Arena run from a new account and it seriously feels like rigged.
First of all, I got 2 legendaries, pretty unlikely, eh? Overall the deck was horrible though, I went for card quality too much, and had like 0 valid 2-drops.
That's the deck:
Forbidden Flame
Lowly Squire
Zombie Chow
Frostbolt x 2
Jeweled Scarab
Novice Engineer
Duplicate
Effigy
Mirror Entity
Acolyte of Pain
Flamewaker
Saboteur
Silver Hand Regent
Spellslinger
Dark Iron Dwarf
Mechanical Yeti
Polluted Hoarder
Sen'jin Shieldmasta
Water Elemental
Blingtron 3000
Madder Bomber
Psych-o-Tron
Corrupted Seer
Faceless Summoner
Nerubian Prophet
The Black Knight
Flamestrike x 2
Eldritch Horror
How do you think that'd perform? I average 6.1 win, and I'd say if I get to 7 wins with this, I'd be pretty happy. Like this deck has no early game, 3 secrets but no cards that cheat them into play, obviously pretty good lategame but Arena is not that much about lategame.
... I got 11. Could probably get 12 if I was a better player, but hey, having no real 2-drops is impossible for an arena deck above like 7 wins.
I've read that you get players with 1 more loss during your first runs, so that explains it a bit. But I've met A LOT of horrible players aswell in places where they should not have been. Good players started at like 9 wins.
Like, plays at 9-1. I am at 8 hp, have Flamewaker on board, some cards (no taunt), paladin against me plays THIRD Truesilver and a 3/3 that grants shields + hero power. And... he goes for a Hoarder. Seriously, you don't get to 9 wins playing like that!
At 7-1 people don't play around obvious Effigy onto a Nerubian Prophet.
But okay, bad players are common, it's Sunday after all. What's more interesting is absolutely stupid RNG I've had.
So, I've had a Blingtron. I've though originally "well, against weapon classes, he's somewhat okay, works as a finisher...". Oh boy, he was an MVP.
I've got:
2x Gorehowl (!!!)
Arcanite Reaper
Death's Bite
Twilight Hammer
Sword of Justice (to get oiled from Spellslinger, so a 8-5 Blingtron and a 4/4 weapon)
And in my last game I got a Rallying Blade, the only result that was not amazing but just good.
Madder bomber... So the board is:
My side: Dark Iron Dwarf, 4/3 I guess
His side: 3/3 Shade of Naxxramas, 1/1 Patient Assassin (both stealthed)
I play Madder bomber and clear his board. I am kinda lazy to calculate the probability, but it must be really low.
Conspiracies are usually a bad explanation of stuff like this, but could it be possible that new runs have rigged RNG? For the same reason you get weaker opponents. Makes me wonder whether should I've went for those Servants of Yogg I've ignored like 3 times...
Edit: see an attachment for an accurate showcase of that play...

Don't think there's a card for exact same goal, guess your best bet is to include more of something sticky like Harvest Golem, maybe even Infested Tauren. Another thing you can try is Stormwind Champion. But better just save 400 dust.
3
Varian's variation, unlikely to see play because of the same reasons. Unreliable and bad in fatigue games.
Although maybe some druid ramp will make use of this, I don't think it will work.

Idk, my first game. Pretty fun.

The worst thing about those decks is that replacements offer random cards... Try replacing one card several times and it will offer several different cards without any idea behind them.

Play at the evenings, easiest time to win. Do not recommend playing arena in morning/late night.
