    posted a message on SN1P-SN4P Nerf?? :D

Sorry, but SN1P SN4P isn't the problem, Mechwarper is. As said in the other thread, it just needs to be changed that Mechs cost at least (1), problem solved. Still insane value, but no longer infinite, and that's the issue.

posted a message on Nerf snip-snap already

Exactly this: mechwarper needs not to reduce minions below (1) mana as the Warlock-Portal does. This is the broken card. Everything that can reduce minions below zero is strong (Thing from Below, Emperor Thaurissan), BUT Auras that reduces things to 0 are far beyond broken, they are simply destroying the game. And yes, Mechwarper is one example for it.

I still think that the priest-one is FAR better than the Rogue-one; i think that even drawing 4 cards (and rogue-invoke cards are right now pretty MEH) for 0 mana is by far not as good as this one. Priest lacks right now in one thing, and that's card draw: this draws no card, but it gives you a priest minion, and that's nearly as good.  And being able to destroy 4 minions on board is often better than the rogue-one. This nearly works as the priest-DK.

Still: right now we know nothing about invoke, we first need to see all the cards.

posted a message on No Geist?? Jade Druid Winning!

Because Geist is as useful as nothing against nearly ALL other decks. Big Priest, Secret Mage and so on. Why use geist when you could use a useful minion? There are only a handful of jade druids in wild, and even then often Renolock can deal with them even without Geist. Infinite Jade Idols are strong, but useless against most minions in this deck.

posted a message on Blitzchung kicked out of grandmasters and banned from competitive play
    Quote from Banner_hs >>

IDK what you guys want to achieve with these posts... Blitzhchung and  the  casters broke the rules and Blizzard has the full right to punish people who break their rules.  Simple as that.

Also I dont think Blizzard gives a fuck about a few people and 1 caster who quit HS. This is a huge company and tons of people are interested in working for it

First: yes, he broke the rules, and he could have simply been disqualified, period. But banning him for a year, punishing him by removing his already earned price money and also banning the casters too; that's the issue. Punishment ok, but when blizzard talks on weibo about defending the pride of china, every 5 year old would understand that this ban was politically motivated... ok everyone except you.

Will there be money hungry people who wants to work there: yes for sure. But the fallout is big: Mainstream-media is reporting this; and you know you fucked up when a democratic and a republican senator agrees on something, and this already happened. Right now, the public view on the whole NBA and Blizzard-Scandal is rocket high. China is a very big market, but what happens if lawmakers here are now taking these companies in their eye, maybe even punishing them too.

I think that without the NBA-Scandal, this would not be as much of an issue. But now, it's happening. And blizzard can not longer play a sitting duck: Blizzcon is around the corner, and who knows: maybe it's time to send some subpoenas to the NBA, Apple, Blizzard, Tiffany and co out to ask them a few questions. Hopefully it will happen.

Strongest class for two weeks for the first time since the rotation. Yeah, priest definetely deserved this nerf /s

A class is not a person and does not "deserve" anything.

The people playing one class do not deserve a better experience than those playing other classes.

We all deserve a reasonably balanced experience in the present, regardless of anything that happened in the past.

Sorry, but it's bullshit. What's with all the priest-players who get owned the WHOLE ROTATION who NEVER HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL? And sorry, but every fricking class is sometimes OP. Warriors were it the whole crappy rotation long. But when priest has ONE TIME a tier 1-deck: NERF.

Reno-Priest is strong one time after KaC: NERFED. Mind Blast allows Priest to be competitive: HOF. Now Extra Arms shows that Priest is finally somehow viable and one time a good class: NERFED.

And Warrior was able to rampage the whole rotation long: WHO CARES. That's not balancing, thats bullshit.

    Quote from FiendishKodex >>

It doesn't work... Tried it out just a little bit ago, and was rather disappointed. Maybe they'll change the interaction at some point, but as of this moment, Amara's battlecry doesn't count as healing for the quest.

That's because Amara is, compared to Reno no heal! As you see in the card text: It set the maximun Health to 40. The same aspect as you have with Alexstrasza. Set the health or maximum Health is not counted as a heal, therefore you will also not die when you have Auchenai Soulpriest on board.

posted a message on Big priest is getting out of hand

False. Big Priest is the very definition of a broken deck. The ability to produce copies of 9-10 cost minions with 1/1 statistics is not questionable. To revive them with their default statistics multiple times mid-game moves the pendulum too far in favor of the Priest player. Your retort to the individual you quoted is flawed. It lacks substance and counter points.

Exactly this shows that Big Priest is necessary. The issue in Wild is that everyone is playing control. Big Priest is a control-destroyer, therefore it has a big advantage against these decks. While Aggro can totally destroy big Priest, as long as you don't Barnes exactly into Obsidian Statue with a play into a guaranteed resurrect into another Obsidian Statue, then Mill, Rogue in General, Mage in General, but especially Exodia mage, Mecha'thun, and so on.

The issue with Big Priest is that it's polarizing and can snowball pretty quickly. But that's true other decks like Shudderwock and co. The issue with the high winrate of big priest is simply because everyone is playing control or another slow deck in wild, aggro is nearly non-existant. If there is more aggro, big priest naturally disappears.

In the end let's show some facts instead of these "alternative facts here": fact is that big priest winrate is quite low right now. It's still around 58%, but most tier 1 decks have a winrate above 60%: Right now, Aggro-Mage has a winrate of 67,8%, because it preys on Big Priest, but also other slow decks. As said above: there is too much control in Wild; and Aggro Mage actually does the job even better to pray on them as Big Priest.

    About Flametongue Totem

The nerf was necessary. Not only because of Wild Even Shaman, BUT because Flametongue-Totem always was a big issue: see Old Gods Expansion where Aggro-Shaman took the reigns over. Flametongue was mostly the fault of it. Since then. Blizzard can't create strong 1-2 drops for shaman, since Flametongue-totem buffs them and make them able to destroy minions that cost 1-2 mana more.

It was far too strong for 2 mana.

posted a message on Has your Hearthstone account ever been hacked?

Having a Blizzard-Account without an authenticator is simply bad. Why: because battle.net is the only website where passwords are not case sensitive.

So if you type in AbCdEfG it's the same as abcdefg. No idea why, but yes, this makes passwords there MUCH MUCH MORE INSECURE. No idea why, but it's stupid nontheless.

posted a message on Card Nerf - Equality
    Quote from AnonSpartan >>

I thought the odd/even mechanic was cool, but the fact we keep getting these stupid double nerfs shows how bad it is for the game. I'm afraid that even when Baku and Genn go out of standard, they will still be considered during nerfs.

Again, has nothing to do with it: It's simply that blizzard can't create any AoE-Removal for paladin because Equality is far too strong.

posted a message on Baku didn’t even affect the equality nerf
    Quote from enoX_36 >>

And secondly, baku affected equality. Actually, baku is the reason equality was nerfed to 4 mana instead of 3. Imagine odd paladin spamming 1/1 dudes just to equality and trade them into your big minions.

They already posted a statement where they SAID that it didn't. Equality is too strong at 3 mana too, simply because then everyone would still use it. Blizzard wants to reduce the impact of classic and basic cards. Since the release of Hearthstone Equality was in nearly EVERY deck, so yes, a nerf to it is necessary to allow them to print AoE-Effects that get actually used:

Look at Enter the Coliseum: was never used, because of Equality. Look at Shrink Ray: was never used because of Equality. Nerfing it to 3 mana wouldn't have solved anything, it would still probably be used in the next few years.

As i still hate everything that has to do with Standard and is despice the rotations; i can understand that having such a powerful card always available is an issue for it.

Still: i would have changed it in the next xpack, adding a new common aoe-removal there.

posted a message on Eternal servitude nerf???

I think that Barnes is simply too high winroll: not only in Big Priest, but also in Shaman when he plays him and goes barnes > y'sharrj into a 10/10 y'sharrj.

But all in all i don't see a nerf for it right now: The Winrate of Big Priest IS NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO DESERVE A NERF TO BARNES as mentioned before. Should barnes be nerfed: YES, but right now there are not enough issues for it to deserve a nerf. There are MANY decks out there that destroy Big Priest: Rogue for example: even after the nerf and there is no archetype that totally get destroyed by Big Priest as old Kingsbane-Rogue where control had around 0 chance against it. Heck, there are control-decks out there where big Priest has a disadvantage.

If it get nerfed, that not because of Big Priest, but rather because Barnes is too High-roll. But then they would also nerf Keleseth for the same issue.

posted a message on Is Genn and Baku damaging Hearthstone?

I would nerf Genn and Baku to as long as they are in the deck: so when you draw Genn or Baku, your Hero-Power should return to normal. But to answer the question: yes, they are damaging Hearthstone. It's not like Reno where all decks in the future will be Highlander decks, simply because consistency is important too; yet Odd and Even does simply provide too much benefit for it's cost.

Genn and Baku were a mistake and hopefully they will get nerfed.
