It is too slow, fanboys can downvote it, but you kinda struggle vs aggro.

VERY rarely, and they have to get VERY unlucky, usually they get the dream, with bombs and buffs, and it's GEE GEE. I wish there was more variety. Played ten games in brawl, so far seen 9 hunters, only one rogue.

posted a message on Amount of Utility draw in Druid is just absurd....

They should have let warrior have some more time in the sun and broke Dr. Boom a bit more, still early though, looking forward to more viable lists coming out but right now maly druid+control warlock are pretty stifling to any innovation...Hard to argue that the core cards for druid atm are too strong though. I don't like the nerf everything argument, but I would like to see more variety at legend.

posted a message on Tess Greymane is Not Disenchantable for Full Value, Clearly a Mistake, Right? [UPDATE]

Waiting for the inevitable onslaught of Reddit and Blizzard fanbois to flame this article. Sure it felt like the Lynessa one was VERY minor, but it still counts. And the others were CLEAR nerfs. Blizzard doesn't give a shit now that Brode is gone. They are going to tighten up the freebies for players I imagine. The golden pack thing is to placate the masses. This "deal" just helps them sell older packs as well.

posted a message on (w/guide) Vex Crow Tempo Mage

People asking for replacement cards, this is a pay to win game at some level. If you really want to win, you must put some money into the game unless you grind nonstop. If nothing else, buying the pre-orders each expansion should help you have enough cards to make 2-3 decks.

posted a message on Baku, more Baku and then Shudder

There is a dumbass gimmick mage too atm, that uses Vexclaw rng, seems lame but greedy as hell so it works well vs control. Shudderwock is keeping control grounded, it is like the old Raza decks, only draws vs itsself.

posted a message on So, here's what has to happen for a Shudderwock OTK

I don't think most people are arguing it is OP, simply that the animations taking several minutes is beyond annoying. Kripp is currently 17-15 with the deck, so it isn't a world beater by any means. But the fact that every other time he plays Shudderwock, he can take a bathroom break or go get a drink and come back and the animations are still going is a problem. Idk what they can do to shorten them, but people are getting really sick of sitting through that to see if they are dead or not.

Very Lucky. I opened 77 packs, 3 legendaries, none golden, one golden epic, maybe 8 regular epics.

Managed to do it with a Priest deck that just involved as many buffs as possible from minions and Unidentified Elixir is your best friend.

I had a similar deck to yours, but after two wins it was all OTK decks I was facing. Value based decks are too slow vs their combos.

posted a message on OTK pally dead in standard after witchwoods ?

Maybe I am old fashioned, or boring, but I feel like trying to assess any expansion without seeing the ENTIRE set is a waste of time. Right now we are all over the place on what we think about reveals, and it won't even be until about a week after release that we start to see what materializes as strong. I will say that it is fun to see streamers overreact to cards and make bold (and often untrue) predictions about cards. Anyone remember Trump and Grimy Gadgeteer? Or Amaz and Pilfered Power? LUL

Just play a Secret Mage or an Aggro Paladin and pretend you're good at the game like everyone else that used those decks to reach Legend. Those decks are literally 95% auto-pilot, no brain decks, you literally can't go wrong.

The issue with this strategy is it punishes people like me who are better than most ppl they play against, but much less lucky. Those braindead decks require luck, whereas a higher skillcap deck such as combo priest or big mage may net more wins due to skill.

yes blizzard specifically put a line into their code to make you less lucky than other players. also how is playing a removal as big mage every turn until 9 not braindead..? sigh.

You haven't seen my games. Decided to start writing it down for documentation. 20 games last week as dude vs priest, and I faced 26 netherspite historians. Of the dragons I saw specifically from historian, 22 of those were duskbreakers. That is 84.61%. That is WELL above the average of 40% for class specific dragons. So please fucking tell me how I am making bad decisions, or playing so badly, when in a large sample size such as this, on average, I'd face that third duskbreaker 40% of the time only. https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveHS/comments/7pqnan/analysis_on_netherspite_historian_on_dragon_priest/?st=jfbmjh4s&sh=3ebc31ff Is the math for dragons off netherspite historian. Please people try to understand not everyone has the same luck on their way to legend. As I said, 0-9 vs final boss facing mostly dumpster legend players, and even if I was the worst player ever as you guys suggest, I would win one of those games based off "average" RNG. Losing to barnes+Y'saaarj on 4 is not "fun" or interactive, nether is losing to three or four duskbreakers.
