posted a message on Ridiculously BAD cards in packs - Am I the only one!?

Of the 17 legendaries I've pulled from packs, only one was a repeat.

Damn, I must be one lucky SOB.

I decided to give this deck a try yesterday (i.e. the last day of Season 2) and went from Rank 17*2 to Rank 9*3 in about 46 games. The record is 30-16 or a win rate of 65%, which is respectable given that I play mostly in casual mode. However this morning, the matches have been real brutal (and the same for a lot of you, I bet). I've played about 35 games with this deck and went 18-17 which is a huge drop from yesterday. But I think this is not unusual after the ranking has reset and you'd probably be paired with anyone regardless of skills and experience, but most likely with the hardcore ladder climbers.

Having said that, the weakness of this deck, beside losing the "shock value" in the meta, is that its drawing power is rather iffy. After 80 games or so with this deck, I find that the impact of Divine Favor is way below expectation. There is a lot more aggro decks in the meta right now than the control type, so more often than not, Divine Favor is just a dead card or two if you happen to draw a pair (which has happened quite often in my games). It doesn't help that the deck has only 15 minions, in contrast to the 25, more or less, of a typical Zoolock deck. This means that your starting hand pretty much makes or breaks your game and this is too situational for a rush deck. So I would suggest replacing Ironbeak Owl and Elven Archer with Loot Hoarder for drawing power, or with Arcane Golem for more minions and burst damage.

Good luck to all of you.

Update: The final record for day 1 of Season 3 is 30-24, so it seems to have improved as I stick with it and play more cautiously.
