It would not happen.
Since Naturalize targets minions and Mayor is the only one on the board, Mayor would still be destroyed.

Posted in: RhoninI think people are underestimating this card...
The fact that its effect is a death rattle is a good thing. The DR makes it a trading machine, because you want it to die. Yes, it's rather expensive, but what you get for it dying is well worth it.
Not only can the missiles combo well with Archmage Antonidas, but they combo well with so many other minions as well: Flamewaker, Ancient Mage and Malygos (any minion that has/gives spell damage), Gadgetzan Auctioneer, and so many more.
Furthermore. Because of its DR effect, your opponents will have to spend more resources then normal on it if they want it gone, in most cases (Ironbeak Owl + Big Game Hunter). Yes, Shamans/other Mages will simply be able to Hex and Polymorph it, but that's still a good thing, because that means that they won't have those spells for your other big legendaries such as: Ragnaros the Firelord, Dr. Boom, and Ysera.
All-In-All. I like this! And - if I get it - I'll try it out.

Knuckles + anything with Poisonous, Lifesteal or Windfury . That alone is rather powerful in a single card. Especially if you already have Tundra Rhino out. Even Knuckles + Battlecry: Adapt could be handy in a pinch. Granted you'd have to get Knuckles in the first place, but yeah, I'm definitely going to have fun playing around with this one.

OK, I admit. The first thing I thought of when I saw this card was "THUNDERCATS HOOOOOOO!"

Correct, so long as one of them hasn't been drawn yet.

This competition immediately made me think of this kind of card since I had noticed awhile back that Brann Bronzebeard didn't double combo effects (though I understood why right away). At best it's a 1-drop (The Coin,Preparation, then this), but then you'd have to wait until turn 3 to cast Brann, then he'd have to survive, so not immediately overpowered. Also, to keep the power level at a reasonable place that's why it only applies to minions. I like the idea of a legendary spell as this makes me think of the lone ninja outnumbered who suddenly snaps their fingers and the rest of their clan come charging out of the forest.

The image in my mind is a bunch of Rogue types in a dark forest hiding behind the trees, waiting to ambush something but I was OK with this for the moment. Brann Bronzebeard boosting your combo minions.

I don't comment often, and I've never criticized a card. I try to find good uses for even some of the bad cards. That being said, this card is the worst I have seen. Equip a 3/2? Awesome. Add a 3/2 that costs the same as the minion? Ugh. I'm a rather creative individual but I can't really see this card working with other cards except for very, very specific situations (like if you suspect a Mirror Entity or something). Otherwise it's just fodder (and not even good fodder) that happens to also give up something after dying.

I like this deck so far. My second match I didn't get a good starting draw even after a full mulligan but it didn't take long before I got the cards I needed and was able to recover from the slow start. I still ended up winning. I did make one substitute right off when putting the deck together. I substituted Defender of Argus with Enhance-o Mechano. It's the same drop and and only one rarity step up so it wouldn't necessarily be a budget buster. In the mid to late game, with a near full board it's going to make things difficult for your opponent. Unless no one has divine shield and they all get windfury, then a board sweeper would still be a problem. Though that's assuming your opponent surived the turn with double attackers.
