Nerfed cards gave me 4k. Other cards gave me 6k. I don't regret not prepurchasing a 50 pack WoG bundle the least. The dust and the free packs will yield enough.
Yeah, I am in the same boat, went from 2k to 12k, plus gold for 29 packs, plus the 13 freebies. I figure I am gunna be okay.
(though it took me five weeks to fight the urge to preorder; I think I'll buy Overwatch to reward my discretion)
There's so many guys keeping the owl, why? Spellbreaker is one more mana with a better body.
I think it's the mental framework that Ironbeak Owl worked within; it was less of a minion with a solid battle cry, and instead used as a spell that also happened to generate a body. Most people hold their owls until they can get exceptional value from the battle cry (which is usually towards turn six onward), and when they drop it, they are comboing it with other stuff. Paying two extra mana (or one, post-nerf) limits the other stuff you can do in exchange for a slightly better body (that still dies to a lot of 2 drops).
(personally I think the 4/3 is fine though; Piloted Shredder already proved that 4 mana 4/3 can get value from an extra two drop tacked on, which is pretty much the old Ironbeak Owl)
I play a lot of mage/hunter/paladin and I am a big fan of the secret mechanic. I am a bit disappointed they didn't do anything with it in this expansion. What gives?
Wait until the new expansion is released, the nerfs are announced, Standard & Wild are introduced, and a new meta settles. That has been mentioned literally hundreds of times... and the release date is in a week. Crafting something now will be a rushed, flawed decision, but of course no one will stop you from making it.
I took a page from my cousin and just keep the goldens til the next expansion comes out. I have enough golden cards saved up to craft two legendaries, but still get to use them until the new set is out.
Of all my DE's the only one I think I regret is a golden Gorehowl. I don't lose too much sleep over it since I am not even sure it was actually golden.

So I get that grey means that the card has been drawn, and white means it is still in your deck, but what does yellow mean?

The Black Knight is gunna shiiiiiine. Of the eight legendaries I can craft, I am pretty sure he is going to be in the first five.

I already recrafted 2x Knife Jugglers because I still wanted to play my midrange secret paladin deck until the new stuff comes out tomorrow.

New regret: Golden Stablemaster.
If I hadn't, I could have a matched set now that I have just opened my second one, alas.
