I don't have HSreplay stats but I highly doubt that even shaman or odd rogue are at 70% win rate in legend. Aggro always has inflated win rates because it wrecks everyone at rank 14.
I've been calling for a BP / Barnes nerf for months, not because the deck is crazy good, but because it really, really sucks to lose to it.
Even shaman is arguably the strongest deck right now and may well get a nerf eventually because of that, but there will always be a deck which is "arguably the strongest deck right now" and if it isn't even shaman it will just be something else instead. However, there doesn't always need to be a deck which screws you over on turn 4 with a Barnes high roll. Nerf shaman or don't nerf shaman, I don't really mind, but please please do something about Big Priest.
(Unless you are absolutely certain you never want to play elemental / control mage, and really really need the dust to be able to put together a competitive later deck.)
Bit sad by this on the basis that murloc decks weren't that powerful until un'goro even with warleader, but I don't think you can argue with the fact that stat for stat the card was OP.
I do like the fact that they didn't just mirror the pirate buff, 2/0 is much more interesting.
Would have preferred it if they raised the mana cost to 15....
In all seriousness, this was the one card I wanted nerfed more than anything else ever, because it represents in just 1 card such a huge counter to token druid, zoolock and evolve shaman. I genuinely would prefer it to be nerfed right out of competitive play, but this might be enough to reduce its impact enough.
Those complaining about jade idol not being nerfed are complaining about a different problem, the jade shut-out of control. A legitimate complaint, but completely irrelevant to the need to reduce druids ability to shut out aggro with one card.
