The only thing I really look forward to about this game now is completing my dailies so I don't have to play this shit game again for another 3 days.

posted a message on I believe that Naga Sea Witch needs to be nerfed. What say the Wild players?

Just going to leave this here:

Quoting Mike Donais: "Naga Sea Witch Giants is not the best deck in Wild. If you look at any data report based off of actual math instead of feelings that is pretty obvious."

Okay, since we don't have access to Blizzard's internal data, let's use the third party resources available to us.

Here is a link for the most played and highest win rate warlock decks in Wild, from the HSReplay site:

    https://hsreplay.net/decks/#playerClasses=WARLOCK&gameType=RANKED_WILD

This data is the largest slice available at Rank 25 to Legend. Summarized from what we see here, the top 4 warlock decks are all Naga Sea Witch Giant decks. Without adding their sample size together, just taking the top iteration and comparing it to the next most played deck which is cube it is still TEN TIMES the sample size. In summation, NSW Giants is THE most played warlock deck in Wild.

Maybe it's biased, let's check it against the latest Vicious Syndicate meta snapshot for class distribution here:

    https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/wild-drr/wild-distribution/

Interesting, the most played class looks like Warlock, and the most played archetype? NSW Giant Warlock.

So, now we have two data sources with similar reports. So either, they're completely inaccurate, or Blizzard is fudging the data. The data that no one has seen. Ever.

I guess it depends on what your interpretation of "best" means. Looking at the data available, it's only the most represented archetype of the most represented class — with the highest win rate. So, yeah.

This is a pretty average example of what round 6 has looked like in the past 20 runs I've done.  If it's not Face Collector, it's Craggtorr, Azalina, or Gnomenapper doing something like this.

I've already beat everything for my card back, so whatever. I would still like to play this mode for fun. Shit like this isn't fun. If I wanted to do this every game, I can go back to laddering in Wild with NSW.

I finished monster hunt and decided to play more since this meta is absolute trash. I just failed 22 runs straight because of round 6-7 bosses were always either Craggtorr, Azalina or Gnomenapper. I checked the pool list on Icy Veins. There's like 11-12 bosses for round 6 and 7. But I've gotten highroll roflstomped by the same 3 bosses 22 times in a row.

There literally isn't a single corner of this game I find enjoyment in anymore.

Wild is ruined. Standard is complete garbage. The ladder and casual is filled with non-interactive, degenerate decks. Shit is too oppressive to meme anymore. Community is filled with a bunch of White Knighting Blizzard fan bois that devour any turd T5 shits out. Fucking morons.  They're 3 expansions ahead in development and can't be bothered to roll out regular balance patches? Fuck them, and fuck you for praising them like they're not just the next fucking EA ruining modern gaming.

This game is a sloppy half-made, bug infested raging dumpster fire. But we all keep playing it because sunk cost fallacy or you're a fucking retard and don't know better.

    Fuck this shit.

The amount of Blizzard fan boys in this thread is gross. It's a bug, it should be fixed. Frankly, this whole adventure is overtuned and under tested. It's sad that so many of you are white knighting so hard.

Seriously, that card that fills his board on turn 4 is like CTA on steroids. He got a knife juggler and two 5/5 mech gnomes and just leathaled me on turn 5.

A lot of people crafted a lot of expensive epics and legendaries, many of them wild only, in order to play the deck. I crafted some of the epics myself so yeah I've got some skin in the game. It's easy to say "x deck is ruining my wild experience," and 37/37 on turn 5 is maybe too wild for Wild, but Blizzard has to take into account all the dust people spent on the support cards. If you nerf Naga, all lot of people are sitting with Clockworks Giants and Malganis in their collection that they might never play again (I already play a lot of wild so I'm not sweating it too much). If Blizz burns these people they'll be less willing to spend money/dust in the future. It doesn't matter if you think those people are cankers, Blizzard knows they need people to spend money in order for the game to exist. They balance this with all the people who hate losing to the deck and may also stop playing. Quest rogue was a good example of nerfing a mediocre deck because the experience of losing to their but draws was so miserable, but early quest decks were mainly commons and rares. They're not a small indie company, there a massive corporation who cares about profitability, and they have tons of data about win rates and card crafting.

When you ask for a nerf you are also attacking the collections of other players. I'm glad Blizzard is deliberate in making nerfs.

I crafted all the giants to play this broken deck.

    I still want it nerfed.

Upset? Why are you upset? Your opponent won with rng + your help, be upset with yourself.

btw, that you went until fatigue with those really bad plays actually shows how OP cubelock is.

Sub optimal plays are inevitable when your opponent drops a turn 2 8/8 without hard removal for it.
And you survive until fatigue even when your opponent draw nuts.
This deck is the most powerful deck ever made when you judge the consistency, have other decks with more powerful starts or finishing combos but they suffer with bad draws or combo pieces in end of the deck, this warlock bullshit is perfectly, have absolute everything, insanely OP healing, cheap mass removal, outstanding tempo and value plays, draw engine, etc..., etc.., etc...
Nothing comes closer to this bullshit, I prefer 10 times play vs hunter with 8 manas CotW than this abomination, or pirate warrior before axe nerf and that decks was nerfed.
Why this don't was or will nerfed is beyond any logic or reason, who denies is just bad warlock players don't want to lose your free wins with overpowered and busted cards.

I'm not denying that warlock needs a nerf, it's an insane class and needs balancing. If I had a choice, I would remove every mana cheat in the game to return to a more fair meta. Lackey/Skull/Voidcaller, Barnes, Call to Arms, Spiteful Summoner — they're all bullshit cards and have fostered a degenerate meta.
I'm just trying to get my portraits. I don't like playing hyper aggro and completely degenerate decks. It's not fun for me. If I wanted, I could grind out the wins for Warlock in Wild with a NSW Giantlock, but those games are completely non-interactive. I prefer wacky homebrew meme decks, but this meta makes them virtually unplayable.
I already missed the efficient portrait farming for hunter, warrior, and shaman when they were powerful because I was just having fun playing priest and rogue when they were T4 and below. I know if I'm going to get my warlock wins, I should do it now before I'm in a situation like I am with Shaman where I would be forced to grind out 30 minute Shudderwock games if I want that portrait.

Sub optimal plays are inevitable when your opponent drops a turn 2 8/8 without hard removal for it.  I'm guessing you've never played the deck before. While it does need need a nerf, it's not the only oppressive deck in the meta. I'm only playing it because I'm 50 wins out from the gold portrait and I'm farming those wins now before Warlock gets nerfed and becomes unplayable again.
While it's strong, it's probably one of the higher skill capped decks to play next to Miracle rogue because of the decisions per turn.  I understand the hate, but there's more degenerate decks out there than cube lock.
